i get the feeling you're just another neocon nutjob who claims to have voted for obama just so you can bash him and convince others to vote the other way next election.
anyways, it's ridiculous to judge his presidency on one issue which he had no part in enacting and has no authority to stop.
personally, i didn't vote for obama last election. but i will be voting for him next time cause he's done an amazing job. saved the auto industry, saved the stock market, saved the world from global economic meltdown, created jobs, killed bin laden, etc.
or maybe some people like this.

Slow your roll with the insults coach.
If SBR is shifting their focus to international players thats fine but dont start insulting your remaining US members becuase theyve noticed the writing on the wall.

Yeah and I get that part but I really just wonder if anyone at SBR knew much of anything. When I think about it logically, would you tell someone at a forum of your plans to exit the market? Would you even tell the majority of your employees until the deal was done knowing how small the industry is and how people talk? SBR isn't some rinky dink site with a few members. Obviously Spiro and Scotty would've wanted to protect a run on their accounts before handing them over so I'm not sure that being forthright with info would've been their #1 priority. Like I said, if people at SBR knew ages beforehand then so be it but I just don't see the logic in why Spiro or Scotty would ever say a word. Too much risk involved no matter how much you trust a person. And then if that trust was there and they told John/Dozer etc... would we expect they'd break that trust and damage the relationship to tell us when no one would be harmed financially anyway? Tough call in my opinion.
Valid point shari. However even if Scotty or Spiro had informed Walker/Dozer of future events do u really think it would be in SBR's interest to release that information? All that wouldve happened is posters wouldve cashed out from BJ and SBR wouldve lost a tonne load of commissions, hence i believe that even if the higher ups did know beforehand about events unfolding that they wouldve kept their lips sealed as in this instance loose lips equates to a loose fiscal standing...I understand SBR has to protect their interests, thats just business.
This way, whilst theyve annoyed a number of posters their financial standing has not been hurt as a result of this...Que sera sera

Or do you think that the majority of those affected have/are in the process of transferring their accounts, are grateful and pleased after finding out it's a smooth process and they can withdraw their money today for free if they so choose? And the second part to that: If you really believe Spiro and Scotty would've bolted if they decided to turn their back on non US players, what do you think any online forum could do to rectify the situation (regardless of the industry) if one of the pillars in that industry decided that they were going to exit and not refund their customers cash? If ebay or apple decided to close up shop tomorrow and not pay anyone out do you think that any one of the thousands of tech forums or those devoted to online businesses would be able to influence them to change their mind?
Your post does nothing but further prove the point that SBR does not have the type of power to be a watchdog site or review site that gives accurate information or that they would not do so at the risk of jeopardizing there advertising dollars. There is a old detective saying that goes you are only as good as your best informant. SBR does not have informants or people inside in high enough positions to be a true watchdog. They know and knew of nothing of true values to there traffic, just a bunch of clowns coming up with theories after the fact.

Place seems dead to me. Big shots have basically cut the point system. The site has been running like something from 1996 for the last 3 months. All the lies and big boy talk finally caught with these clowns. Seems they cant afford to continue on at the rate they were once going at, but its business as usual. What a joke. I guess draftstreet and a bunch of fantasy leagues will be the future of this site. I am enjoying there downfall, lets see how much good those advertising dollars from those C+ do you guys. Business as usual pushing off C+ books onto unsuspecting newbies.

SBR is fine, if there are major problems the Bash would of been called off.... Things in the industry change all the time.. SBR adapts and is still light years above all its competition.
