    SBR Maintenance Notice
    SBR Maintenance Notice

During the coming weeks, in preparation for the launch of several new sites as well as updates to existing sites on the SBR network, we will be conducting fairly extensive hardware maintenance and upgrades.

Most of these upgrades to our servers and other hardware should go unnoticed to our visitors; however, we will announce any known outages in advance and every effort will be made to limit resulting downtime.

As some of you are aware, we’ve experienced higher than normal downtime recently. Rest assured that we are taking the necessary steps and investing the necessary capital to ensure significant improvements in the stability and speed of all SBR sites. We expect all such upgrades to be completed by the end of July and will be running “full speed on all cylinders” prior to the start of football season.

Again, we expect most of these efforts to be seamless; but, we will provide ample notification of any scheduled downtime and fully expect any such outages to be minimal. We’ll be doing our damndest to stay ahead of “Murphy’s Law” during this time and apologize in advance for any unplanned “hiccups” that may occur.

Thank you for your patience while we continue our efforts to make the SBR network of sites the best (and fastest; and most stable) experience for all of our users.

As always, if a visitor to SBR is experiencing problems with any of our sites, do not hesitate to contact me directly with the details. We’ll do everything in our power to assist in identifying and correcting the issue.

    All the Best,
    Sean Patrick

That letter seems like a standard letter that most websites use. I got basically the same one at Barclays just changed a few words.

If you could make sure the downtime comes each afternoon from about 4:30 to 7'ish, I'd sure appreciate it Sean. Thanks pal.

Hey Sean, SportsBookReview (SBR) en Español looks kind of whack with that funny translation, you ought get a local to translate it, looks very unprofessional and not serious with the auto translate.

Thanks DaveRabbit ... the Español version is still a bit of a work in progress. Please don't hesitate to shoot Bill or me a PM or email with some specifics. It really WASN'T done with Google translation ... much

BTW, what flava you got? ... Mexican? Cuban? Tico? Amazing to me (being the gringo that I am) the subtle (and not so subtle) differences in certain Spanish words and phrases between the different cultures.

Reminder that we'll be conducting a number of updates and upgrades to our servers and systems during the month of July. We're expecting the arrival of 8 new additional servers in the next few weeks. During this time, we expect to limit any scheduled downtime to the early morning hours and hope to avoid as many "unscheduled hiccups" as possible.

                          Thanks.
