To be honest, I am not surprised she is 6 feet under now. However, it is very sad & tragic that she could never shake the drugs. A very talented performer who is gone far too soon, and the personal demons won.

People like this can be told 1000 times by 500 people to stop their self destructive ways and it would fall on def ears. Every positive option available could be explained. It wouldn't matter. It's called "free will" and many use it improperly to their death.

The final decision to seek recovery has to come from the dependent itself but that shouldn't stop those around them from attempting to help the individual in need. A good Christian should always help those in need, even if the results don't pan out.
