Ok and now my chat with heritage...it went well...response at times a little slow but they have been in business for 15 years...received a $100 FP no rollover requirement... I will nickel and dime that and do well...

Checks free..**/** expensive...but if you can wait a few days for a check seems reasonable...so I am in...

Just need to get used to site...will miss BJ...never saw this coming...we should have received some notice...

Called Betjam yesterday to make W deposit and was given a lil diff treatment than the usual. I'm sure employees knew this was coming cause I could hear it in their voices. Why not just say so then so I wouldn't waste my time depositing. Now I'm supposed to just xfer my funds to heritage and feel confident? will just be a matter of time before we wake up and they are out of business to US players as well, then what?

This is a sad day no doubt 2 great books.

1. Guys this definitely sucks and those that are complaining about the transfer at least we got that and they just didnt close up shop on us wihtout letting the transfer of funds.

2. Does anyone know of a book that offers the VIRTUAL WAGERS or also called ROLLING IF BETS that Betjam did. This was the best part about them and i cant find no one that has that. NOT IF WIN OR PUSH BETS but the ones you could do at any point during the game?

I usually call and get Debbie, Margarett or Nikki and they all sound pleasent and give me the info requested with no prob. Yesterday I had to call twice to obtain the info and before the info was given to me the call was disconnected. I spoke to both Debbie to obtain and Nikki and they both just didn't sound like their usual selves to me, but thats just my opinion. They had to know this was gonna go down. My question is why take player deposits up until the last hr you are in business?

Had accounts at both BJ and The Greek. Transfers went off without a hitch. Now have 2 seperate accounts at Heritage. Was told they'll decide whether to merge them or not next week, but that I would keep both Free plays. I told them I wanted to take some money out of my Greek account, and they told me to call back Monday, but assured me it would be free if I took a check.

For one, I could of requested the "last 100 wagers" freeplay BetJam owed me. I am sure lots of other people in the same position and had accumulated lots of bonus freeplay money, but were just waiting to request it for one reason or another. I for one am pretty angry about that. I haven't requested that bonus in over 6 months so probably accumulated hundreds of freeplay money over that time. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned more often in this thread. That is like accumulating 10,000 SBR points with the intention of saving up for something good in the store, then SBR decides to just close the SBR Store without notice making all those points you saved up useless.

Yep --You roll the dice and take your chances. You just mentioned one of the overriding reasons NOT to post that you're going out of business. Even if only 10% winners that is still a chunk of change to take out of your coffers to payout somebody that you have NO CHANCE of recouping those payouts from. And yes, the same thing CAN happen here but, what's your point? SBR has no contractual obligation to redeem and they can modify their offers at any time. I see no problem with that. Everything has some level of risk. If Freebies are your thing then clip 2 for 1 coupons and sell your Freebie. BJ made a BUSINESS DECSION based on external pressures and tried to offer a solution. Don't like the solution? Go somewhere else but, it's going to happen to you there too eventually. Really, whinning about a FREE PLAYS lol? You're lucky you got your money.
