Vegas is very hot in the summer. No place to raise kids! Taking hits with the economy slowing down. Many areas are crime meccas. Move to Reno instead!Comment -

The schools, in Vegas, on a scale of 1 to 5 - 1 being the worst, are a 0. I'm not sure about the options for private schooling, but that 100k would be gone in a year probably heh. That right there is a deal breaker IMO... If you were single, I'd already have made the move (and did). Also, rents right now are thru the roof since everyone got kicked out of their homes due to bunk mortgages that they took on. It's very tricky to get a rental and will be until things settle down.Comment -

Yeah maybe if single since you have less to worry about but not married with 2 young kids...just not enough backing to ensure them a proper life if things go bad for a few months.Comment -
