Nice move on the guy to just give the ball to Jeter. The Yankees are only a multi billion dollar organization with a brand new stadium helped funded with taxpayer money. Jeter only makes a little over $15 million after some nasty off season contract negotiations. So why should the Yankees or Jeter pay for the ball?

If it were me, I would hire an attorney and say I was coerced into giving it away and go on the talk shows stating the same thing. It may not work, but the negative publicity the team would get during the great recession would be worth it. Millionaires and billionaires should realize something like this isn't free.

did you see josh hamilton and the rangers celebrating after the game winning walk off last night?..Sure looks like they got over the death of a father of three awful quick..If he hurt that bad he would have been more solemn about the celebration

There were hundreds of people around the kid, you'd need a witness.
You'd have to single out the person (s) who allegedly coerced you.

Being a father of 2 little ones, i would have asked Jeter and the Yanks organization to pay for my childrens education. How can they be mad at you for this, put the money in a 529 college savings account where only the kids can touch the money when they apply for colleges they desire. How can the world be mad at you!
