I wish I knew how to cook. I get the grocery list from my wife and buy what she wants. I always screw up these two.

Beat 3 eggs with milk, salt and pepper in a bowl. Whisk really well and dunk two thick cuts of your favourite bread in, soaking up the mixture.

Gently fry the bread in the same saucepan as the pancetta butter residue until the bread is golden brown. Remove the bread and place on a plate.

Have oven preheated to 400 F. Place the two pieces of cooked bread on a cookie sheet. Now add a few thick slices of beefsteak tomatoes. Cut some nice slices off a monzarella ball and place on top of the tomatoes. Hit the tomatoes with a bit of salt and pepper. Put the half cooked pancetta on top and cover with the other slice of cooked bread. Put the sandwich in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and the pancetta is fully cooked.

Remove the sandwhich and pour a nice amount of pesto (I make my own -- easy as pie) and a bit of chive oil over the top of the sandwich. Slice diagonally and serve with sweet potato wedges.

      Good Lord ALMIGHTY!

I am so freaking hungry ... I almost took a bite out of the screen.

Sharky, this is a VERY easy dish to make. Try it sometime. You will LOVE it, pal.

I have to admit to cooking as well. When I was a young dude with not much money from being barrelled in with gambling. I would invite a young lady to the apartment for dinner because I couldn't afford a dinner out at a resturant. I found that they are more reseptive to a nicely cooked meal that they normally wouldn't get anywhere, and afterwards they are already in your house so you don't need to convince them to come over.

But now that ragewizard is married, the only way to get the mrs. to give it up is if he takes her out to a nice restaurant. How times have changed.

The table has turned. Not really that bad but it doesn't hurt to blow a couple of hundred on a meal every once in a while.

To use a presidental term, they need to be vetted. Ask about seafood allergies. King crab, shrimp, lobster, lend themselves to easy to make dishes that have a powerful mental effect that could be benifical. Besides I haven't been with a woman that was a veggie mucher for long.
