What ever gave any of you the idea that the U.S. was formed, or was ever based on Income Equity? The exact opposite is the truth. If you know anything about American history, you will know that originally the only people who were allowed to vote in most elections were landowners. That means all of the other people who did not own land, were NOT allowed to vote. This country was formed with the belief that the landowners knew how to best run the nation. Looking at the situation that this nation faces today, thanks in large part to the poor, and the illiterates that are allowed to vote, the Founding Fathers had the right idea.

Weren't all settlers landowners to begin with when they settled in America until they lost their lands to the banks or made their fortunes using free labor? So the ones who got the most free labor got rich. The ones who couldn't get their hands on free labor lost their land to the banks.

I always get a chuckle when the rooster measuring starts.

Reasonable Canadians (the overwhelming silent majority) understand the reality and how fortunately we are sharing a border with the United States. The tiny minority, the ones in denial, are always the loudest and are always good for a chuckle.

The amount of money we don't have to spend on the military is staggering.
