A bridge or some shit.He had to file the two on the sides to basically put in a three way cap. I told him to go fuk himself and his bullshit. Ten years later no pain no shifting and this fuker is in jail. everyone is trying to shaft someone to make a dollar.

I find it hard to believe this dentist didn't prescribe some V's. Doesn't make any sense to me. I've had wisdom teeth pulled. Not fun! Missed three day of work. If this was me I would take an over the counter sleep aid and disappear into tommorrow.G.F.L.

did you get the tooth pulled because it was cheaper?

you should have had the root canal + crown which is unfortunately much more expensive but worth it in my opinion

both are about the same amount of pain

Not true. I think the pain of root canals are overrated.

Here is a thread about my experience.

Thanks for that thread onlooker....Honestly it was just the situation....This is what she said to me " You will need a root canal, and then we will need to crown it and it order to crown it, we will need to scrap away some of your gum to get the crown to fit properly"...Just imagine going in with "just a hurt tooth" and end up hearing that??!?! Anyway I said are there any alternitives? She said we can just take it out if you want....Me thinking root canals are the worst just decsided to get it taken out. Also another thing that influenced my desicion was the fact that it was one of my molars....if it was one of my front teeth I would have deffinitly gotten the root canal. So right now its out and jurts a little and its a bitch to eat...but I'll pull through....just hoping I dont get a dry socket

I had a bridge done about 6 months ago too. To fill in a tooth I had pulled about 10 or so years ago. They said my teeth would start to slide to the missing spot, and screw up my other teeth. So I had that put in.

Now it is just up to me to keep my teeth healthy. I go every 3 months to get them cleaned.

I hope you don't get dry socket, and the pain goes quickly.

I had a tooth pulled about 2 years ago, first (and only) one. It hurt pretty bad for about 3 days. I just kept biting down gently on cotton to ease the pain a little by putting some pressure on it, not much else I could do about it. Dentist put in an implant with a titanium screw, didn't hurt in the least when he drilled into the bone (no nerves there). But you have to wait 4 months between tooth pull and enough bone to build up where the tooth was pulled (the human body is amazing) before the dentist can drill. I definitely recommend this procedure, almost painless, the actual procedure takes very little time.
