It was at the Horseshoe Casino in Gardena. I remember getting on the freeway to drive home and I opened my eyes and was passing Reseda Boulevard (a good 20 miles away). I had no re-collection of that 20 miles driven.

Absolutely freaked me out.

How Laak played 115 hours straight is amazing. You have to be in TREMENDOUS physical shape to do that without heavy narcotics.

Yeah, I don't know how he did it. I played 19 hours once and that was with the help of some things. All I remember is I was up $600 at some point and I ended going home down that plus another $400 dollars. Couldn't remember any hands, though I remember one kid saying he never wanted to see me again because I sucked out on him multiple times.

I love the hell outta playing poker, but I also hate it so badly lol!

Never met a poker player that was not flat broke including 80% of pros

Always remember poker is pure gambling and like any other form of gambling daily usage means you will end up broke

The few poker so called pros that do have a few bucks got it mainly from endorsements

Playing poker for that low stakes at the casino is virtually pointless, 1/2 NL is strictly a home game (no rake) type of thing, they shouldnt even have 1/2 NL in the casino as its just a waste of time, if you cant afford 2/5 NL dont even waste the gas money except occasionally on friday or saturday nights you might get lucky and find some drunks just fuckin off their cash. You played well and made $4.50 an hour, you coulda sat on your ass and taken 10 mins just to put somebodys roast beef sandwich in a bag at Arbys and made 8 an hour with no risk

Idiotic statement here. Averaged anywhere from $30-$60hr numerous times playing 1/2 on a $200 buy in. Flat out stupid comment you got going on in that post.
