I agree. I would bet EVERYTHING I own that there isn't a single person on the planet that has that has ever won 50 straight trips to any Casino in the history of the world no matter what game they were playing.

For bobby heenan, a bit of history about myself. I dealt BlackJack for a few years back in my early 20's. Like yourself, I thought I could beat the game and I was very close to quitting my job(BlackJack Dealer) to play professionally. When I first memorized Basic Strategy I thought I was some sort of genius. I had various different betting strategies and I thought I had the game beat. Unlike yourself, I kept detailed records of every trip that I ever made to a Casino. I almost NEVER won on more than 4 trips in a row. After a year straight of spending virtually all of my free time trying to beat the game(keep in mind I was also dealing 40 hours a week) I finally came to the conclusion that BlackJack is virtually unbeatable in the long run.

A couple of more things, becoming a Pit Boss doesn't necessarily make you a genius at BlackJack. There's a not a single Pit Boss that I ever worked with that I felt knew more about BlackJack than I did. And I've worked with 100's of different Pit Bosses. If the Pit Boss that you know REALLY believed his theory he would be applying it and not be working as a Pit Boss. Also, Counting Cards is extremely overrated. If you are LUCKY you might get a SLIGHT edge every now and then and that's if you're playing Single or Double Deck games. There are much better ways than counting cards to win at BJ but overall trying to beat BlackJack is futile.

few things...

first..i dont think im a genius for memorizing basic strategy....it takes nothing really...its like learning the multiplication tables....its easy....and it guarantees nothing....never said it did...

you can choose to believe me or not...doesnt matter to me(i think its a bit crazy that youve said youve played as much as you have and havent come away a winner more than 4 times in a row...but it may be a matter of what you wanted to make and when you walked away)

and i never said anything about a pit boss being a blackjack genius...for all i know the guy never played a hand of blackjack in his life....nor does being a dealer guarantee you are a genius or a guy who is going to consistently win at cards...i was simply noting that the guy who presented the theory, of going up one hand at each table, was a former dealer and now a pit boss

and i agree....i dont believe its possible to consistently beat the game longterm...if i did...id have quit my job by now

I don't mean to rain on the parade or piss on your post but my bull$hit meter is pegged. Not only is it impossible to win 50 trips in a row at blackjack it's impossible to win that many times at ANYTHING a casino offers. It's not free to keep the place lit up like a x-mas tree and pay the broads to have thier half exposed. I have been to the casinos a ton of times and blackjack is basically all I play. I consider myself an above average player and have had many winning trips. Like everyone, I have left many times with my tail between my legs and my a$$ handed to me as well. If I could leave that place a winner 10 times let alone 50 in a row with winnings I don't know what I would do. However if you are getting people to believe this I suggest you quit and write a book or sell this theory like some of the touts. Hell they win 80% of thier picks. As far as your GF not being ok with you going all the time and quitting your job is because you haven't won 50 times and she cares about you making an absurd decision. We all want a 12 inch dong, Megan Fox as a sex toy, and Tom Brady good looks, and 50 times out the casino door a winner. Unfortunatley it's not going to happen. Best of luck...

Quick backround, years ago, I played daily for about 2 years straight after work. Here would be my advice:

Keep detailed records, or at least records plus/minus for the day/month/year. You can find trends believe it or not, I found I didn't do well on Sundays, guess what? I stopped going on Sundays.

Have a seperate bankroll just for blackjack, not car payment money, not food money. Then start breaking that down, meaning if you have a 1k bankroll, do not take 1k with you, take 250.00, no debt cards, no c r edit c ards , just play with what is in your pocket.

DO NOT quit your job, had a friend do that and he felt pressure to produce, everytime that dealer had 16 and pulled that 5 he was close to pulling his hair out. If that becomes your only source of income, the game can become overwelming, there is truth to "scared money doesn't win!"

Set a goal, either daily or weekly, hit your goal and get off the table, this will be the hardest lesson for most.

Keep building your bankroll, so those days nothing goes right you can leaving with empty pockets and leave it behind you and look forward to tomorrow. There will be days the dealer just kicks your ass, period. You have to laugh it off and move to the next day.

Finally, as for the girl not accepting it, that is up to you on how you handle it, I would be upfront and not hide it, if it is what you want to do then explain it to her and put building your roll ahead of buying her shit.

The penetration? I guess that joke is over my head. When I first started I was dealing 8 Decks only. The whole Casino was 8 Decks at the time except for High Stakes. I started when the Casino was brand new. We eventually had 6 and 4 but I never dealt anything less than 4 as we didn't have anything less than 4. I never felt any penetration. Please explain it to me if you would.

Its a key component to counting, and reason why alot of games are not as profitable anymore.

25 to 33% always. Like I said, I never dealt anything less than 4 decks so Card Counting was almost non-existent where I worked. And like I said in a previous post in this thread that Card Counting is overrated.... even in Double Deck games. You give me 4 decks or more and I will take on Rain Main or Daniel Tammet(look him up if you don't know who he is) just as long as I get to be the Dealer.

when i played 5-6 years ago they were only taking out 1-1.5 decks max on 8 deck shoes on $100 to $2500 spread games. games were amazing in toronto easily beatable!

Soo... you're telling me that you were counting cards with 8 decks? That's hilarious... if you won it was LUCKY! I assure you of this. How many professional BlackJack players have you ever met in your entire life? I have met Zero. If you have met ANY you are fooling yourself. Only way they were Pro's is if they were working in Teams and the Casino's had extremely lenient rules about coming in during the middle of a shoe. And even then it's unlikely.

thats fine....but ive pondered quitting my reg job...but i dont know how to present that to my family or my gfs family...i mean...i guess i could just pretend im still working and lie...but im not really down with that....not to mention i have benefits....and the fact that i dont 100 percent believe you can get by doing this long term.....i like having the guaranteed money...if i wasnt rational i probably would have already quit

You aren't beating this game long term doing what you are doing... You might be the luckiest person in the world and won 50 trips in a row but playing the way you are claiming had no impact on it...

i will definitley not quit my job...just something i had thought about...but i really dont believe its beatable longterm....and probably wont even if i continue to keep making money....i totally understand what you are saying about the pressure that can mount if you were depending on that money and taking some bad beats

it could of been 50 days or 50 years 1 day a year. winning 50 times in a row is not plausible. i've been banned by several casinos for counting... you are the only one that has ever done this congrats.!

yeah i like to lie....i made this thread because i want you to believe me....tell me you believe me so i can go sleep well tonight...lol....the point was actually irrelevant.....but i should have known better and left it out...the point was if anyone thought the idea of getting +1 at each table in the casino was possible....but whatever

I should clarify a couple of things... #1 I said I spent virtually all of my free time trying to beat the game. 80% of that time was Home Simulation. Because I was a dealer myself I could simulate the shuffles and everything else that the Casino's that I played at did at home. The other 20% of the time I spent actually playing at the Casino's. On average I went to the Casino's only a couple of times a week. And like I said it was rare for me to win more than 4 trips in a row. I think my record for consecutive winning trips might have been 6. You probably consider that pretty awful but it's actually pretty difficult to do. I probably only made around 100 total trips to Casino's(not counting the one I worked at, we weren't allowed to play there btw). After losing all my winnings and then some I quit cold turkey. I have no desire to ever play BlackJack again. Unless of course it's a home game and I get to be the Dealer.

Run into this dealer and you'll never get on the plus side. Bouncing from table to table means somewhere along the line you're going to park your butt at this dealer's table and get said butt handed to you.
