Turkey does not have the speed to keep with the laterlas of Portugal , this game will open up in the 2nd half.

If you do some research you will find out that Portugal has one of the fastest midfields in this cup.

They will be double marking Ronaldo so this leaves room for a goal.

I am not sure about the over at 2.5 but I do believe some of the biggest books have this at 0.5 im sure you can get it at Cris or Matchbook.

Since its the first match one unit will do.

I'm going alternate line on the Switzerland game. They have it at over 2 for-130 on the regular line. But on the alternate line they have over 2.5 for +150. I'm taking the over 2.5.

Panic , should be careful as if both these teams fall back it will go under def.

It is a risky bet , but the odds you are getting are yummy..hahah almost to hard to pass up.

You must understand in this group all 4 teams are going to be playing to advance to the next round not a blowout.

And aside from Turkey all these 3 teams are powerhouses.

1 point or 3 points in soccer for the first round is well enough , dont expect teams to open up in the first round.

3 goals in one game in the first round sounds a bit high if you do some research not many opening games go over.

But if you go for this

With ya, sslp. But They have the favorite at -220, one alternate line at over 1.5 for -200, the regular at over 2 for -130...so I cant pass up over 2.5 for +150. Just cant do it. Wish me luck.

i think turkey is better than you think and i see this game as a draw as turkey will play for a draw to get a point here then go for the wins in the next two matches against easier teams.

Another good over bet is the Croatia game against Germany , if one of my home teams costa rica

managed to score 2 goals against germany in the cup croatia should be good for at least 1 or 2 and germany is a power house but they have what I call the lakers syndrome great team but over confident.

I will probably bet 5 units on the over of this game , do some research and see how high scoring both these teams are and as good as they are defense is not their strong point

Agent I agree they are a very good team but Scolari has been studying this team for a while now , I dont think it will be a blowout but you must admit Portugal beating Turkey by one goal is a very good bet

Agent I also agree with you on the 1 point thing I said it myself many teams settle for one point , but turkey will only face harder opponents after this round , but I guess thats why its gambling good luck to you

Agent I do watch quite a bit of soccer and I played semi pro and pro for while I think I have a good feel of the game but we all lose sometimes .

Lets talk after the game and see who capped it right.

if you played pro or semi pro you should know that portugal will not risk leaving themselves open for a goal by pushing the line up too far as like i said earlier a point here would do both teams just fine.plus dont forget in the second half turkey will be staling.

I wish you luck as well , but as a soccer player if you know a team is going to playing to draw you play to win and apply the pressure.

Its like boxing when a fighter is fighting to stall the fight most of the times he ends up being cornered and beaten down.
