Another thing to remember was that under 6.5 games was a huge juice play at pinny before this series started.

Dallas has a better chance to cover than the Heat do to win, should go over but hard to pull trigger because elimination games usually go under.

I booked Dallas +6.5 (-111) x1 when it was sitting at +6 (+100) shortly after g5 ended. I think you're right on in your assessment of the Mavs progress in attacking the Heat defense. Adding Barea to the starting lineup was huge for the Mavs. In general, I think Carlisle didn't show all his cards to start the series, and likely still has more to add to how the Mavs run their game down the stretch.

This is def an exciting finals to watch. I played games 1, 2, 3 and 4 and was right on games 2, 3 and 4. I think Mavs win this series in game 7. I think Heat take game 6 with a close cover. Much more money to be made on bases right now. GL and go Mavs.

donaghy said before this shit even started that it would be dallas in 7. that shit is ringing in my ears hard right now, as it has every time i've made a decision about how i was gonna bet on certain games in this series. not sure if i'll take dallas and the points or the heat moneyline, but that roosterlicker has been right too many times to ignore. i think, bottom line, we're going to a game seven one way or another.

I agree with this guy...went 7 games last year with 2 equally match teams and this years its still equal. And you know stern gonna have this go to 7...you think the league wants to finish early and waste all that $$$ from game 7...still if it goes to 7 i'm going with mavs...heat game 6....mavs game 7

I would think that Heat opening without a hook is a bad sign for Dallas backers but it looks like the books are gonna charge a premium price on the heat. As the series has gone on we need to be more cautious on the heat. They won game 1 pretty big but asides from that they lost 3 of the last 4 games and they barely won the game they did. Also the Mavs are a juggernaut on the road and they smell the title and revenge in Miami. It will be justice. I honestly think the Heat arent ready to win the title yet. Before you take the heat large think 3 or 4 times. Dallas +6 might be the best bet you will ever be able to make in a game like this.

Yo laker boy thats a good analysis. the last games before game 5 have averaged 176 total. game 5 was an offensive explosion with both teams hitting tripple digits. if dallas and miami hit over 50% and attempt 70-75 shots it should go over ther 187 total. But if they both go back to the 40%-38% and attempt 70 shots they should hit the average of 176 total and expect the under. but like you said dallas has figured out the defense of miami so the stronge play will be the 1st half over if lines at 92. I can see miami pulling the win out but don't see them covering the over priced 6. that line should be at 3 at best.

i don't think Mavs will shoot as well as they did in game 5. Heat defense will be much better at home. Wade and LeBron with 3 days rest in their comfort zone now. it's gonna be a good game. i say Heat take it in 6 and 7. Mavs "suppose to be" up 3-2 anyhow... they had 3 games at home and miami had 2 games at home. both won a game on the road so it's back to square one with miami homecourt advantage. i think refs will be on miami's side on sunday. this series is one of the best i've seen and i'm sure david stern wants to see this go to game 7.

Doesn't make any sense to take Heat -6. How far off can the line be at that? Should the line really be Heat -7 to -8? Absolutely not in my opinion. I think the line should be right around -5 so I don't really see too much value either way.
