1.7 mill these days is peanuts. ARod makes what 30 mill? Sasha has a lot of catching up to do and he did tonight. congrats Sasha for the quick score pal. I hope some big bettor breaks your legs or does something bad to your family in slovenia where its probably easy to do something bad there.

I guess you may have a point and I can't pretend to identify with making $1.7 million per year....I'm sick of the conspiracy stuff though....The mob is involved in everything...Maybe I am naive....

The no call foul in game 4 was a fix too....

Or maybe because my post count is under 100 right now, that probably means I was planted here by the mob to bash the conspiracy theories.....

pt shaving and all that was made famous by the unlv runnin rebs ?
these guys watched all that when they were young and were in awe because they had no $ at the time and were dreaming of that mercedes ..... players in all sports know how to do it and even
sit around talking about how easy it would be to make the game finish however they like and get aunt and uncle a benz .... (who they love , i mean truly love you know)
these guys are the same as you and I , if you a real baller that is .
i would never do any of that if i played but i wouldn't do alot of other things either that i see on the news every day that i cant believe people do . is not rocket science to truly realize people cheat or are involved with things you and i bet $ on .
IS REALLY NO STRETCH AT ALL SINCE WE HEAR ABOUT FIXES FROM ALL DIFFERENT ANGLES ALL THE TIME . if we pulled up all the newspaper clippings of players in on fixing the score we would have quite a long list .
but we alreay know all that , whether it was like that tonight only slovenia knows , call em up . i bet they are talking about how great their boy is now for hitting that shot . lmao

note: of course you tell your peeps to take your team at home - the pts if you have kobe on your team . haha

If you keep gambling it will all even out. I could name a lot of games that were decided with meaningless shots, FT's, etc. Memphis two months ago, UNC-Clemson ACC tournament, and last night C's-Pistons. I keep doing it, because I believe my knowledge of the game supersedes any fix/conspiracy. When/if you get screwed, here is the most important advice you will EVER receive. WORK HARDER/CAP BETTER. If you can't do that, you need another vice that is safer and more predictable..............like knitting

He shot it for the home crowd. Players know the spread. He did Lakers backers a favor, but that's not a fix.

UNLV players had financial incentive to participate because they weren't making millions of dollars to play....Northwestern had a similar scandal...Donaghy was the same way....

I still think that guys that are making millions have way less incentive to do this kind of thing...

And as MJF correctly pointed out, you would be fighting for your team not to cover....it's a lot easier to manipulate that...

"Oops...I fouled him"...."Oops I turned the ball over".....

btw, i do know this for a fact, that PLAYERS DO KNOW THE SPREADS BEFORE THE GAME... this is a fact.. and some players will sometimes try to cover the pt spread for the home fans, as in todays case.

i will bet my last dollar that sasha knew the line at the time he was winding up for the shot.. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK..

okay , so he shot a 3 like that for good lookin out for the laker fans in the stands who bet $ . okay , that makes sense . would not be a fix really , but you just never see it in any high profile game really . but yeah he got the jack the joker payed on their sidelines and probably charles barkley so , yeah it's okay now .
i do know one thing for sure , that was one crazy finish . yes when duncan shot that 3 i thought he wanted them not to cover . duncan also sucked bad down the stretch looking like he did not want to cover the # .
why would i think it could be a simple finish i dont know .

so next up is the celtics at pistions -5.5 lmfao
no drama in that one . pistons win by 10

there was an ecu football player pt shaving scandal as well , am sure people could name many more .
My favorite by the refs was in the super bowl how the refs gave it to the steelers when they beat seattle .

Sasha shot that because he is young and wanted to appease the crowd by trying to win them free tacos not because he's working for the mob. Please the guy can barely speak English.

vujajic did lakers backers a favor!

i could actually give him the benefit of the doubt but i think he knows better - there was no need for him to shoot dat 3 pointer at the very last second. ive seen him hold the ball before although very very rare but he does hold it. i think he did it because dat mofo parker jacked up a useless 3 at the other end. he prolly thought, 'wtf did dat azzhole just did? oh well, i might as well try it myself'. it prolly dawned upon him what the spread was and thought why not be a hero for the lakers backers. if he makes it, good for his stats also! besides everybody already know that he loves shooting. it wasn't like it was out of the ordinary for him to shoot the ball on the last second.

now regarding about players knowing the spread, i think most of the players do know how much favored (or unfavored) they are, before or during the game. heck, even espn post the line in their website!

p.s. spurs especially parker is notorious for fukking around with the spread and total. im sure some of u guyz agree with this theory/fact! it started during the 2002 season!

Come on. These players arrive hours before tipoff to get ready. In that time the line could move several pts so how are they going to know the spread as intimately as those who check it every min.
