Still intermittant issues with Blank openings... Other thing I'm noticing both in IE and Chrome today is that the opening lines are "trapped" because you can't get the scrolling bar to the first history line... Doesn't seem to be sized right...

Just a petty aesthetical suggestion...the "opener" box could use some slight separation from the rest of the odds. Maybe bold around the box, or make the text a different color.Comment -
I can see the problem you're talking about with trapped lines, i'll go ahead and have the guys fix that. I don't quite understand what you mean about "blank openings" are you talking about opening lines that are empty? If so could you please take a screenshot and let me know which book you're using for opening lines.Comment -

For now, you can click the "I" button and click line history from there. All of the line histories work correctly there. Or you can change the book to use as the opener if you go into the settings. Though I assume you're interested in more than one sportsbook.
As far as when the bug gets fixed I'm not sure. Updates on the site are scheduled once a week with few exceptions.Comment -

I wake up this Sunday morning and just have a feeling something is up in the totals ... Very few entries on the "new" site... Texas game not even offering a history...
Then I start looking... the "old" site has way more line entries on almost every game...
Texas game has 6 line entries to 2 in the new site..
Toronto/Balti 8 entries to 4..
Phi/Pit 13 entries to 9 ...
I use these histories to tell a story, and clearly I am considering just stop using the site, free or not when over and over the numbers between the sites are all bs... Once it was stated that the "old" site isn't sensitive to the small 15 second movements? Fair enough...
Look at the Tex/Cle history... New site says it opens at -113, and there is a single 8 cent jump to 121 before the game goes off...
Old site... game opened at -110 Under (yesterday)... Moves to -106 Under... Back to -110, 3 cent push to -113... 4 cent push to -117.. THEN 4 cent push to -121 ... That's a TOTALLY different story if you are trying to cap line
movement...
Kc/Det this morning has 3 line movements... old site has 17... uh... don't think i need to explain....

Yeah the main problem with this is that some of the books we have are using reduced juice feeds which are only available to some members on those sites. If we were to show which book was offering the best line i think you would see the same book be selected most of the time.
As far as the line history goes, we're still working on it. Hoping by the end of the week we have a more stable version, please keep sending feedback. Beta site is getting better every week because you guys keep finding bugs and making useful suggestions.Comment -
A mention was made about a prob w/ the sizing on the one click line history page. I saw that also. But... that got me a thinkin! If only WE could drag and re size the screen then we could get rid of the scroll bar if we just made the page longer from top to bottom. I bet the flick of a button might let us do that. I hate the scroll. I like to see the whole line history so it can speak to me.
Please let us resize the one click line history page so those of us who choose not to scroll can do so. Oh, and smart phone users might then be able to use the line history. My friend can't scroll from his phone at all.

Suggestion - when you switch to 'Spreads and Totals', it would be really great if it would show the price of the total; if space is an issue you could do it like Don Best (i.e. 7u15 it it was u7 -115; if it is -110, it just says 7). ThanksComment -
No comments on letting us resize the one click line history screen? It would do away w/ the scroll issue and be a BIG improvement for us line junkies. I know the software can do it since it got miss sized one day by yall. Please!!!
Oh, and today the old site has the right lines and Beta does not.Check out the 1st line from the opener in the Col / Clev game. It is 23 but listed as this morning on beta and yesterday evening on the old site. The old site is correct. Just a day off at Beta. This makes a BIG difference.

There has been talk of this before, i'll see if we can bump it up on the priority list. I think a lot more people would use this screen if it had the price.
1. As for the resize of the line history screen i'm not sure, i can bring it up to the guys but i don't know if it will happen.
2. As for the incorrect openers, this is due to a bug we experienced on Monday afternoon / night. If you see it happen again please send me a PM there is no reason it should be an ongoing issue.Comment -

Also I miss being able to switch from totals to money lines and not having to open a new window like you can on the old site. So if I have the games I'm looking at but want to check the total, it doesn't have to open a new window and if I had checkmarks on the games I was looking at they are already highlighted.
Really liking the new beta odds, works much smoother on my PC. Those are the only two things I really miss from the old odds site.

Shouldn't need to open a new window, make sure that the checkbox "New Tab" is not selected up top where the options are. If you're using one of the new browsers that implement HTML 5 (Chrome, FF 4) then the page won't even refresh when changing leagues or bet types. Though you still need to wait just a little bit for it to load from the server, so it's a little slower than the old site

Whitey, the scroll deal for line history is a prob for some folks using their smart phones to look at the line history. I know more and more people are using their phones to look at stuff here.
The scroll causes me to have to write down the whole history so I can see it all at the same time. Being able to drag and make the screen longer would just be an easy fix for getting rid of the scroll if it was possible. The fact that someone from SBR made the screen shorter one day (and hid the opening line) made me think that if we could just drag and make it longer that would get rid of the need to scroll. The line history on the old site is all on one page w/ no need to scroll but it has the slower 1 min. line pick up.
I do like the 15 second pick up that Bill told us about at the Beta! It gives a more correct line history. If we could just get rid of the scroll I would love the new site.
