I think I won 10,000 dollars in a sratcher but clerk played me?

Whole story short, 9pm yesterday, scratched a ticket and i think (80 percent) it was a star, over a free ticket. So stupidly without reading the the rules, i thought i won the free ticket.

Next morning bought another ticket, and saw if you got a star you win everything, So Right now i drove back to the store asking do they have the thrown out tickets, They said they throw it out at night, and it gone....

The guy kept saying he gave me a receipt for my winning, but he never did, i Remember him riping it up. SO what can i do now?

No, The star was above a free ticket. So i thought It was a free ticket only, but a star means you win everything. BUt im only like 80% sure....

happens all the time, even when people check numbers in the computer, they will keep the ticket and say you lost and then have someone they know cash it.

No Racial, But it an Indian Own Liquor store, and the guy working there, was very suspicous, becuase he remember me last night with two of my buddies, but he said i won 20-30 bucks.... i only won another ticket.... so it was suspicous. ALso he never gave me the reciept, he just ripped it...

You have to prove they defrauded you which will be hard in the first place since you didnt make a copy of the winning ticket.I am quite sure I play the lotto and scratchers all the time.In order for them to get the money they paid you back from the rolls they have to keep the tickets vendors supply them with the tickets and there is a revenue share between store and vendor on money from all losing tickets .They reimburse the store for the winners out that roll then supply them with a new roll.

Yeah, but dude probably get his 12.5 million.... So should i bother with reporting this..... IM only 80 percent sure of the situation, got a friend who also 70-80 percent sure.... I do care about the money honestly, but even if i dont get it, should i report it to the law, so people wont get screw over in the future? Yes they keep winners for the vendors to reimburse the store.Even if you did win the store wouldent have the cash on hand to satisfy the ticket you would have had to get paid from the vendor of the stores lotto tickets.

computers keep records of winning tickets and anything above 1k u cant claim at the gas station u have to go the lottery headquarters
