If you want to just post and have no one respond when you lose, then website promotions is the perfect place to do it. But you want the good part of the deal which is a lot of views & not the bad. You have to take the good with the bad. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Actually what you want then is more likely found @ RX then here

I'm not going to beat around the bush. I'm going tout if I make it to 100k. I can guarantee you it will not only be the hardest thing I've ever tried to do but it will take A LOT of time... I posted in the Systems & Strategies forums on Covers for a year without a problem. I even talked about going tout previous to this boot with no complaint... Welcome, dj...maybe now's an auspicious time to kick into "strict kelly" mode, with regard to bet-sizing (not strictly according to bankroll...i'm a fan of "diluting" at least 50%...to greatly minimize risk of ruin...but with regard to the sizes of bets relative to each other)...could you try to play your wad exactly as a "full kelly" player would with a wad of, say, half its actual size. By, the way...i'm fitguy 67 over at covers, lol.

DJ, I've been following you but not posting... All these mods on here are haters the ones at covers too... They are all jealous cause they know they cant win consisitently... everyone hates... keep doing what you are doing. All the losers are focusing on you wanting to be an entreprenuer... You work hard, sale your picks and forget all these mods and losers. You have everyone of your bank roll builds documented very well... That makes you more reputable than anyone else I know. Plus, the reason I do not post on these forums is because Im to busy being a winner. All these guys post soooo much and lose. Everyone thinks this is easy money... WRONG!! It is very hard work and you do it. Tout all you want, you have earned it and everyone else can buy or not buy... I dont understand why everyone gripes so much. @dio_force -- I'm an idiot. That was a heavy IMPLICATION (I infer what you imply). I should have known no one else would use the word sardonically, I should have picked up on the bumping to a new page, and the soccer picture should have solidified it.

@gryfyn1 -- I was in a small little sub-forum in Covers where there were a bunch of us rifling off winning systems. No bashing, all respect. We ran the show... then some idiot mod decided to overextend his powers and be a douche. That's cool with me. I'll just keep moving on... I know of a few forums I could go without bashing. It's so useless. Like I'm fine with constructive criticism but bashing is pointless and only degen losers do it which makes it that much more annoying.

@5858-ED -- That's correct... glad to see you made the jump over.

@fitguy67 -- Very good idea. Gimme a week or so and I'll track how Kelly would be doing compared to how I do it now and I'll most likely implement it then. You're right though, full Kelly is much too aggressive. I'm thinking half Kelly or even quarter Kelly, we'll see.

@excel -- Going tout has nothing to do with the money made from the picks... There are three main reasons I want to go tout. The first is that posting winning plays has absolutely no benefit to me. It actually takes time out of my day but there's no return for it. I could be doing this all by myself and no one would ever know. Going tout at least gives me a reason to keep posting my plays. The second reason is that I actually want to become one of the most recognized touts in the industry... Not only that but I want to change the industry and get rid of the "GOY/Super Lock of the Century/Guaranteed Winners" marketing hype bullshit you're getting right now. I want to show average joes that good marketing will not make you money, however isolating edges and solid bankroll management will. Finally, if I were selling my picks, I'd have consistent time releases, mailing lists, twitter/text updates, etc. A lot of tailers already hold me accountable and ask me to do the things I just mentioned but I have no agreement with any tailers so I can just kind of do what I want. It would be different if this were a job and I had paying customers. All that being said, 100k is soooooo far away, we shouldn't even be talking about this right now. The minimum time frame for reaching 100k will be 2 years in my opinion and it will be the definition of a grind.
