Lets not forget about Caron Butler and the most important piece that LeBron would die for. And that is Phil Jackson.

Butler was a Lakers for only one season and certainly wasn't playing like an All-Star then. That season was pretty much a lost cause after their coach quit midseason and they went back to the triangle offense which the new players (Odom Butler Adkins) were all unfamiliar with. Then Odom gets hurt and misses the final month. Kobe also missed about a month thanks to the Cavs injuring his ankle on purpose.
