I work for a finance company in NY and we haven't gotten raises in the past 2 years. I will say 2 years ago people were unhappy and looking for jobs but couldnt find them. In the past 6 months almost all the people who wanted new jobs have found them. Thats a bit promising.

Did you wake up and steal some's Wall Street Journal or something? We've been in the same economic diaster that we were in for the past 3 years, we never got out of it. Stimulus money that was propping up this country is just about gone and nature will take its course. The White House should have just let the country naturally bottom out. Times will be rough for the next 5 years which is great hopefully I'll be able to get that 300k house for 100k now. Let that shit drop!

You say it like its a bad thing i'll be green off grid solar/wind by 2015 on 13 acres in pacific Nw beats some track home paying $2,500 a month like my brothers and parents. Buy your land, pay your 5-10k to get your well drilled, 25k-35k for solar/wind back up gen You can go Log Cabin, Yurt, Dome etc but the point is being almost Debt free sooo sick of LA traffic all these damn people and the high cost of living here plus LA will be Mexico in about 15 years it almost is now thats not a good thing....Living in the woods may not be such a bad thing to each his own will post picks end of 2015.

The market doesn't mean shit, it's all smoke and mirrors. Speculators and asshole day traders fvkk it up so bad. Market keeps rising people see CNN reporting record returns and gains. People dump their money into it and the real players pull out with an assload of cash and leave the mid class ass hurt again. It's a vicious cycle but it's the only way to try to make a ROI for your cash. The banks made that clear when they set their interest rates to a whooping .25%. You either enjoy the minium returns that your bank provides with interest or you better hope you're not caught standing up when the music stops in the game of financial musical chairs.
