        Their last playoff appearance was in 2004 and they were a 6th seed this year. That's a huge improvement.....

            They wouldn't even make the playoffs if they were in the West. The Rockets are much better than NY and they didn't even make it into the playoffs.

                            They are not in the West, they are in the East. And they went from not making the playoffs to getting a 6th seed.. That's a huge improvement and nobody can take it away from them.. No matter how much you try...

                                    They are quitters and losers, period. Take away Carmelo and they wouldn't even beat the Cavs. Hey wait, they couldn't even beat the Cavs WITH Carmelo!

                                            Well last time I checked, the Lakers, Celtics, and Heat all lost to the Cavs. What's your point? My point is that the Knicks have def improved since adding Stoudamire and Melo. The addition of 2 superstars and making the playoffs for the first time in years are a good reasons to believe that they are indeed "back".
