Umps have alot to do with the game...if he is calling it tight your gonna have a hard time throwing strikes on the corners so you put it a little inside and see ya home run

#39Interesting thread, there was something on ESPN about the Mavs in their series with the Trailblazers. They said that one of the refs in that series has the Mavs with a 2 and 16 record when he officiates the Mavs games. I have never seen anything with an ump in base baseball and certain pitchers with lower era's.Comment -

#48I don't think playing Over or Under should be based on Umpire behind the plate alone.. I think..you should try to handicap a game based on team stats..For example..You think certain game is gonna be Over..you check the ump and if he is notorious for being an Over ump..you just put a little bit more and be a little bit more sure..that's all.Comment -
