Not yet, but it's getting close. He's been better at the plate the last few games. Let's see how May plays out, the dude is a professional hitter, he'll adjust, he's still one of the best right handed hitters going to right field, never was a pull hitter.

Soriano's OPS is 1.160 in spring training, yet when the season starts, he'll probably be trying to claw above .700 and embarrassing himself at the plate.

Houli dont you ever say Juan Uribe doesnt have a place in the Majors! He was a part of the best team of the 2000s. The '05 Champion White Sox! I will forever remember Juan's catch in the bottom of the ninth in game 4 when he caught the ball over his shoulder falling into the stands. 05, what a year hahaha

I know this, but I know I have seen 7 Yankees games this spring, and I know more than enough baseball to know his bat speed is slower than it used to be, he's not picking up the ball out of the pitchers hand right away, and his body language is saying "I have no more confidence"

Agreed, which is why I was surprised when the Yankees got him. They could get someone better without it costing them much, plus they have old players like A-Roid and Jeter who they may want to use at DH sometimes.
