Votto is a great player but plays at a deep 1b position. I'll take Tulo first rd come back get Gonzalez or Fielder in the 2nd. What SS you going to take next?

You are correct but the best player is in my mind. Is a player who helps the club the most. Tulo fills a position in SS with 1B 3B LF RF power numbers. Which gives a team alot of flexibility in regards to defence over hitting at other positions in the field. Stats are not always a key indicator of a players overall help to a team. He is a gold glove defender as well and is only 26. He has Votto numbers but he plays the thinnest position in the majors.

huh? I don't think we are on the same page. Troy usually gets it doesn't when they play at coors. Votto actually has a better away avg than a home avg. There is no way that Troy has higher numbers or more pop to his bat than Votto. That is just cazy I'm sorry. I would even out Cabrera over Tulo without a doubt.

Agree with Pujols/Cano, but I'll throw another name out there that hasn't been mentioned yet.

                          The Hebrew Hammer, Ryan Braun

Last yrs numbers. Tulo in 529 AB .315 AVG .385 OBP 32 doubles 3 triples 27 hrs & 95 RBI's from the SS position plus he is a gold glover. Tulo's OPS which is the most important stat is .990 LOPS .935 ROPS
Votto's #'s 529 AB's .324 avg .424 obp 36 doubles 2 triples 37 homers 113 RBI's .863 LOPS 1.114 ROPS. Votto has better numbers but barely. And he plays a very deep position at 1st. If i were building a ballclub i would build from a hitting standpoint middle in. Power hitting and good OBP 1st baseman are 15 deep. SS is 2 deep.

On real shit though i just like to debate the Cano, Tulo & ramirez topic against deep posiot players. @ different worlds in terms of stats. But i would take Felix only 24 and is the best pitcher in the gm.

                                        Tulo 53 HR home
                                        Tulo 42 HR away

Coors bias not as great as one would believe

Really no such thing anymore with roids

It has to be a stopper type pitcher only if there is one
