I don't think they have enough experience to win it. They need another year or two to be a complete contender.

#37no bigs, no win at all...
The recent story of the nba shows that to win anything you need a big center and and good pf.
LeMarcus is really good and Camby is too old to do more than defend.Comment -

#38The Blazers have everything except for a go-to-guy. Both them and Denver suffer from not having that guy who can take the big shot. It used to be Brandon Roy, but he is no longer an all-star caliber player since his knee surgeries. We all know who is taking the big shot when the game is tied down the stretch for the Mavs, Lakers, Thunder, Bulls, etc. But who takes it for Portland, Andre Miller? I just don't think Portland has that go-to-guy who can get you a big bucket when you need it. Other than that, they have all the intangibles of a championship team (experience, defense, big men, etc.).Comment -

#42Aldridge, Gerald Wallace and a good defensive player in Matthews combined with the Mavs softness/inability to win in the post-season. Give me the Blazers all day. They will lose to Spurs in 2nd if my prediction in the 1st round comes to be thoughComment -

#47portland have the most complete team in the NBA than any other team. They are big, athletic, hustle. if they play the lakers, it will be a toss up. Lakers cannot run with the Blazers.Comment -

#51LaMacrus Aldridge, nicolas batum, marcus camby, rudy fernandez, wesley mathews
andre miller, brandon roy, gerald wallace
Camby was out, roy was out, now they are back and added gerald wallace.
In the playoffs they will not lose at home and only need to win one road game in each series.
I know its a long shot but they shouldn't be looked over.
YOu could argue that aldridge, camby, miller, mathews, batum is one of the best lineups. Gerald wallace and batum as a 6th and 7 man, Wow.
Not saying there gonna win it, but i wouldn't look over them. They just beat miami and orlando on the road
You just have to wonder what their record would be if camby, roy missed no time and they had gerald wallace all year
Take portland tonight over charlotte in a blowoutComment -

#62Portland will still lose this series even after today's miracle, Mavs have still covered all four games and they won't lose at home.
Regardless, Lakers are winning the West (sorry yisman).Comment -
