she knows her stuff no doubt about that. however, last uconn game she said something along the lines of this:

"Walker has the best smile in college bball (followed by more girly crap that i can not recall)"

that did it for me. She kept on going on about his smile till the other announcers ignored her. If she keeps that crap out of her play calling she is ok in my book.

She's 1 million times better than any other female they have... i've flipped through a couple times and attempted to some of the women's specials they have and the people like lawson, lobo, the annoucers are just horrible...

I will give her credit in that she does know an awful lot about basketball, but her delivery is not that good.

But to answer the real question: why she's calling a men's game?

It's because ESPN is run by pinko-commie pansies who want to ram gender equality down your throats.

It's the same reason she was allowed to be the color analyst of an NBA game, and the same reason they now let women do the play by play of football games. Before Doris Burke called an NBA game, not only was she the first woman to do so, but she was the first person to do so that had never been a player or coach in the NBA. Why is this important? Because NBA basketball is different than women's college basketball. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. And she had no fukking business announcing an NBA game. What experience does she have about the rigors of an 82 game season, the nature of illegal defense, or time-outs that advance the ball? NONE WHATSOFUKING EVER. And that's why she sounded like a complete fukking idiot. But that won't stop ESPN from giving you more Doris Burke. Because ESPN has morphed into a sports monopoly of sorts, and when you have that sort of power, you can pump out your liberal just for the sake of being liberal politically correct bullshit without fear of losing viewers.

You need glasses and some hearing aids. She is hideous and can't announce for anything. I have no problem with women announcers if they know what they are talking about but she is downright STUPID

Consider who ESPN is owned by... they try to employ as many women, asians, blacks, etc. as possible to avoid any accusations of racism/sexism.

I don't really have a problem with that I guess. It isn't like I'm an announcer or journalist who can't get on ESPN. I just don't want to listen to this woman when I watch basketball. I'd listen to Erin Andrews and her sexy voice.
