yea, not only is she hot with the glasses look (from far away, up close you can see the caked makeup under her lips), but she knows her shit. Definitely knows more than are you kidding me baby and sean "i love stats" mcdonough.

Think Burke is is a pretty good announcer. Does her homework and knows the teams she is broadcasting. But like most announcers, more is better. Keep the stories short. Let the game be the star.

Doris Burke and her partner are busy defending the RU/SJU officials during the UConn/Pitt game. Talking about how great they are, how many final four games they've refereed.

The guy says "possible travel, possible out of bounds..."

Yeah, so according to him, it was a debatable call and they shouldn't get so much heat. GTFO.

But this chick announcing the Pitt/UConn sounds like a man so it doesn't really bother me.

Not watching the Pitt game, but it's really funny if the announcers are sticking up for the refs in the Rutgers game. They spent 10 minutes after the game yesterday with stop camera shots proving that the refs were wrong. Wonder if pressure has come down from the Big East and ESPN to change their story.

She's not a bad colour person. She has less flubs than most colour commentators. Give me the team of Gus Johnson/Len Elmore or Bill Raftery with any play by play guy for my money any day, though, they are the gold standard. I think she gets held to a higher standard (well, no duh), but clearly is more prepared than most Male colour commentators.

She was a standout hoops star at Providence, knows the game like most of the men at ESPN that never laced up a pair of Nike's, well prepared, and if you can get past those meaty man hands of hers, she isn't that bad looking at all.

I like her, a lot.
