Iwin, we have to plan this out.. It would be crazy if there is a bunch of us at different places and areas when we are all heading to the same area anyway... I am sure we can get a deal if a lot of people get rooms as well.. I am surprised SBR isn't going to offer a rate for us to pay to make it more convenient for us to just stay at the hotel longer....of course we pay but if they could line it up that would work.. If not we are big boys and will figure something out.. We will talk this week Iwin.

Looks like I will be the only one bringing my wife. Even last year at the bash in Vegas being outnumbered by a ton, she had a blast. And for us this would be helpful as it looks like this Marriott would be a good place to start from to see a lot of what Costa Rica has to offer. Thanks John

Dude....i love the girls as much as anyone but DONT bring them back to your safe-room where you got your stuff!! You know your passport, iPod, cash, casino chips and they will destroy a mini bar. A few hours in a Delrey room is $20! Stay out until 5AM but keep a room safe for a little sleeping is my best advice.

She gets into the fights a lot more when she has something on it. So she finds it very interesting to sit and socialize with others that do. I know it's rare, but if she enjoys it, why not I guess.

I think that they are working on that. I will either be extending my stay or coming early. Which ever works better for our schedule.

It doesn't actually say in the original thread whether you can bring spouses so don't take it for granted unless someone from SBR confirms it. This is quite odd because you can only have one member for each household being a Pro according to SBR rules but only Pros can attend the Bash meaning that spouses can't attend.

i guess so if its your wife or gf they can stay in the same room no extra cost .

Guys we are currently working on getting you early birds the same reduced rate for those planning on extending their stay. (Early or Later). I am also working on getting a special code that you can use when you call to reserve your room so that way they will know you are with SBR.

I think this is one way that SBR can thank the posters who use the books that ultimately pay for the great site. Plus the guest will not be much, if any additional cost. Rooms and flight discounts will only be for Pro not guest. Makes sense to me.
