What Pro Athlete would you sign to a 10 yr contract ?

I think Clay Matthws would be a great player to sign for 10 years. He's 24 and I can easily see him playing till he's 34.

Ten year contracts have really hurt sports.It takes a special person to sign for ten years and have the determination to strive to be better and better.When complacency sets in , no matter what the sport,it is very tough to shake.

NFL - Peyton Manning -Intelligence, doesn't get injured
NBA - Lebron James - All hustle, a freak athlete
NHL - Crosby Now, Gretzky then - Both just dominate, Crosby was having an unreal year till that damn concussion
MLB - Albert Pujols - The guy can hit...but people forget he is a great defensive 1st baseman
