Sounds absolutely fantastic John... never been down there and would love to be able to see some of the SBR'ers again.

I echo what others have said about early notice about travel reimbursement signup. I'm looking at at least $700 or so from Toronto, so unless I score a wicked job in the meantime the partial reimbursement will be make or break for me.

All I have to say to ya'll that are coming is .... 2 nights will not be enough. Definitely try to stay a few days longer if you can. You'll see what I'm talking about. You will want to spend 2 nights in San Jose (first night and last night), to fully take in the nightlife. And when you hit Jaco, yah. Trust me, 2 nights total won't be enough.

Guys, now is NOT the time to worry about airfare prices. If you buy your tickets more than 45 days from your departure date, then you are getting a higher price than when they lower the prices about 30 days from departure date

I'm surprised at all the people complaining about airfare prices. SBR is offering a great party, hotel room, etc and, for most of you, the chance to see another part of the world. It's 6-7 months away...put some money away in the piggy bank.

Getting to Costa Rica from Vegas is not fun. No nonstops and usually fairly large layovers. I went through Houston last time and it wasnt too bad. With the exception that I ended up on the same plane as SBRJ .

The cost of this party will be much higher. Rooms or 3x more expensive and everything else is much more expensive. But this is something we have considered for several years. Mid August is a great time to have a party but not such a good time for the SBR staff. It is the busiest time of year for the staff preparing for football.

The country and industry will welcome and support our party and everyone will have a great time. Its pretty hard not to down in The Rica.
