In Vegas SBR is promoting drugs, cheating and gambling. Yep Costa Rica is better but with interests in the temptations, there is no way that I can stay away from the drugs or girls so can't go.

C'mon pal. You have to have some self restraint. Being a poker guy I thought you would know all about this. Its no different than when you have pocket rockets and the flop comes 3,4,5 and the other guy goes all in. Just walk away (fold). You don't have to get involved in everything....still plenty of fun to be had in other areas.

It would be a good idea to put a non pros and pros bash in Vegas and a pros only in Costa Rica I do really think. Last year we required a nominal amount of points to hold a room which was ok at the Golden Nugget at $65 a night. This year we will need a real deposit or a CC to secure the room. Not sure what we will get the rooms for but last time I went to Los Suenos the rooms were about $300. SBR is gladly paying for everyones room but we dont want to pay for an empty one.

How about rewarding the people that said they were gonna go and then actually went to last year's bash by giving them priority on the sign-up? We have actually proved we are men of our word.

It just depends on the cost of the airplane for me. I am not sure about the cost of that. I don't think there would be any way I could afford it unless the airfare is low enough.

i would definitely like to be there because always a dream to go to those places but i too dont know if i can swing it with all my medical expenses maybe john can reinburse some of the expenses. probaly be my last time to make a trip like that and maybe take in some deep sea fishing and definitely the poker tourney.. wow i think this will be awesome.

blues, its probaly gonna cost you like $700-750 from st louis plus expense money down there they say a extra day for a room is $300 plusmyou need food and gambling money and money for the lovely dolls and booze im figurin g at least $2K for the trip or more.

checked out if i came down on th 18th a day early, i wouldnt get there until about 8pm and the room at the marriot would cost $209 for the extra night. wonder if sbr can get us a better rate since getting there late found a round trip rate for $460 on continental
