NBA Championship rings or World Championship rings. What has Dirk won in his career in a meaningful game? He got busted out of the playoffs as #1 seed from the #8 seed. And his Germany national team is awful. The other three have actually won rings.

Petrovic, Kukoc and Divac played in the best Euro team ever assembled (Yugoslavia). Nowitski won nothing. Most people here are too young to remember how good that team was and probably have never seen them play. You say Nowitzki is the best because this is the only guy you ever saw growing up.

Tell me you are joking?? Getting a ring doesn't make you a better player, because if it did than Robert Horry is better than Karl Malone, Lebron, and a whole list of other great players... You gotta keep things in perspective....

you mean the team that beat the college players in '90 by 8 points and then lost two games by a combined 65 points to NBA players in '92?

They were all 22 years old when they beat the best US college players. So in terms of age and experience they were equal. And the NBA deam of 92 was well established with virtually every player on the team a HOF.

disco dirk is the greatest euro player. gasol is up there. from just watching international highlights petrovic was great to watch but no way in hell is he the best euro nba player. he had one year he dropped 22 and that was it. very sad his career got cut short.

Sabonis I think could've been a top 50 NBA guy if he had started here and played on better teams. He was one of the best shooting and passing big men who ever stepped on the floor. He didn't take over games like other guys but his ability to do a lot more than just dunk made for some tough match ups.

Petro was good, but not as good as you are making him out to be. And you can't give him credit for something he didn't have the chance to accomplish. Dirk is essentially the first ever true-european franchise player, and the first to ever win an MVP award, 9 NBA All-Star games, 4 ALL-NBA first team, 4 ALL-NBA second team.. But yet you want to put Drazen as the best because he had the potential?? You can't reward for potential, only by what happen.
