I wont argue which player was more skilled; however Petrovic only had two seasons in the NBA. and if he had played a full career who knows.

But the fact is his career was cut short and Dirk has been one of the top players in the NBA for the past decade is more deserving of discussing where he ranks all time as opposed to just euro players (or apparently south American too)

well said. this is one of my biggest pet peeves-- people continuing to live in the past. Look, Karl Malone was great but there is no way that he's better than a guy like Tim Duncan. Larry Bird was phenomenal but he's not on the same level as Bryant when you just look at their overall games and what they've accomplished.

Carmello is good but he is not the player Pippen was. He has much greater talent but does not have the same drive to win and be a champion.
