How about just leave the people banned that were banned for posting that garbage in chat in the first place? We've already had three guys come into chat this morning posting bestiality porn because John gave it sanction by promising to unban people. This is only going to be a headache for everyone involved if you don't draw a line in the sand and insist that people abide by it. If you just exclude those attention whores who will post anything to be the center of attention, we moderate the place very successfully on our own.

You guys who enjoy chat PM Lou, Bill or myself and tell us how you want it moderated.

Personally I'm fine with a free for all. But first I want to get the programmers to install a warning message. We do this to warn mainly new visitors who may be surfing in a public place or have children around or even their wife that there is potentially offensive material and enter at your own peril.

The mods will still need to give time-outs to guys who go on tilt and become disruptive and ban touts and spammers, ect.

Like i've stated earlier I have no problem with being told/being informed that some material is not to be posted in chat. I have and will tone it down it's not a problem and I understand fully. Some of us chat regulars just tend to get bored at 3am and resort to some strange behavior. Won't happen again and thanks for the unban.

Well, as the only female that goes in there regularily, I can honestly say there has never been anything posted in there that I find offensive. Not the porn - and actually that's a broad word as most of the stuff I've seen can't even be classified as porn. Just pics of chicks, really. I've never seen full on sex porn or anything like that. And even that horse gif Patty posted wasn't offensive. Yeah, I'd seen it posted in there a hundred times before but it wasn't offensive the first time I saw it. Skeevy? Yes. But not offensive.
I think certain things should be off limits ie kiddie porn and rape scenes or whatever. But none of there regulars would ever post that anyway and if someone new to chat did out of the blue, I think the beatdown the regular chatters gave them would be much more harsh than they'd receive from SBR. I love the fact that people can be sarcastic and witty one second and have an in-depth political discussion in there the next followed by some pic of a random Hooters chick and then a breakdown of the next
Australian soccer game for all the action junkies. It really just flows like normal conversation does and it'd be sad if it was too moderated as our real personalities come out.

Let's face it - 99% of us on the forum are bizarre to begin with so it's not much of a surprise that our conversations would be once in awhile. But yeah, a warning would be a great thing for those getting their feet wet.
