You have teams of people working for you, travel extensively and don't know how to make 100k a year on a 70% hit rate?

#40I was documented on SBR in NBA and NCAA hitting 70% of around 150-200 picks. I got a big head like this guy, then my avg went down to the 50% range quick.

#41NFL season is over. I already posted my plays for a season on SBR NFL, and it was 70% ATS. And this doesn't count all the other profits I make out of Parlays/Teasers/MLs.Originally posted by raydogif you have any money at all to put up next year, i will put up very nice odds that you cant hit 70% nfl sides/totals at a book...you act as if nobody here gambles...if you were able to hit 65% nba and almost 70% nfl, 60minutes would be doing a segment on you instead of Billy Walters or any other gambler... you are making a fool of yourself with your ignorant statements... but by all means, continue...its quite humorous.
I will start posting plays on NBA next. 65% is not very difficult, it's about my average long-term rateComment -

#47Well based on even my experience....don't play them.Originally posted by Nathan Bug Tyleri would like to know the secret of just winning parlays
These days, here is what my parlay team does
a) Use parlays to hedge other bets
b) Low probability low risk high reward parlays
c) Round robins
Those are the only 3 types/reasons you should be playing parlaysComment -

#48Well thankfully I don't have to worry about "my money management skills". I have a team who does all that for me, and they have done a brilliant job at making the most money out of my winnings in the past.Originally posted by MinnesotaFatsThe only way to do it is to have a bankroll that can overcome the inevitable streak of consecutive losses that fly in the face of your assumed lock rate. #4970% long term is impossible, period.
Even if it weren't you'd be losing money by winning at that high of a rate, even 60% you are leaving money on the table. Any bet at -110 with an expected win rate of 53% and up is +EV. You only bet 60% you are missing out on +EV bets.Comment -

#51lol I'm not really talking about making 100+k in a year or 2 years in a row. But long-term. You don't think getting blacklisted off every sportsbook when you hit 70% long-term is a serious issue?Originally posted by FourLengthsClearEven by the standards of this forum, this takes the biscuit in terms of BS.

#52This guy has probably seen my NFL thread.Originally posted by OmgUrMomi'll pass cause i know you can do it pal
And let's not just focus on 65% or 70% here. Even the weeks when I lose money straight ATS and so on, I still make it positive. How? MLs are also a consistent gainer for me. And then I have my "Teaser Team" which also helps out A LOT. In fact, that might be my biggest strength, yes even more so than 70% ATS Plays. And then even some weeks I lose ATS overall, my LOCK ATS picks still hit, and I put most on those. So they help out as well. And when I'm just still down a little by any chance, my Chase Team closes it out with a strong finishing week. I think I only had 1 losing week all year in the NFL. Maybe a couple I broke even (thanks to my Chase team making a comeback to help break even).
But yeah, let's look beyond hitting high 70% ATS rates here. I have a lot more in me that still helps me out even when those aren't hitting. Making it very difficult for me to have losing week.Comment -

#55And as posted in my NFL Thread
My man play today is
2 Team Teaser
Packers +4
Jets +11
And after that, many small hedge bets, on Packers +4. So basically, if Packers cover +4, I win big. If they don't, I lose big. This was suggested by my Playoffs Team.
I've talked to Rodgers already. He said they will cover and win. Besides, they haven't lost by more than 3 ALL YEAR WITH Aaron Rodgers. And now they are playing their BEST. And are giving their best too (NFC Championship game). So its a great play suggested by my Playoffs Team.Comment -

#61I just happened to look at one of his "threads", and read this gem....
"Romo got injured. I didn't bet on no injured Romo-less Cowboy team. F*uck that. I didn't deserve that loss. If Romo hadn't got injured, and I lost that bet face-up, I would take that loss and never even consider betting NYG 2nd half. So really I didn't deserve that loss. "
To translate. Tony Romo got injured against the Giants. So he isn't counting that Cowboy selection because well, Romo got hurt.

And I ended up counting that one too in my record. I realized that was not "legit" to not count it (though I still believe it shouldn't have been counted). Keep reading and you will see this. Everything is 100% legit.Comment -

Why are my threads closed? Well because they go off-topic. Does that have anything to do with betting? No.
Once again, starting an NBA thread tomorrow in the Players Talk forum this time (so my threads don't get closed and Mods have forbidden me from starting threads in the respective sport forums). You can join another fun ride or watch again from the side.Comment -
