Oregon crushed me, have to go pawn my car today

for gambling money. this auto pawn guy is ruthless. he is Russian, always low balls me on the amount he will loan.

So now the pressure is really on to win the next few days, if not my car stays in hock all month.

I don't let any of my friends or family know I do it, too embarrassing... and this auto pawn place is about a 45 minute drive away... so no ride home for me.. I get a room at the radisson which is right near this place. If I lose... have to make about 6 bus transfers to get home.

If I win... I get my car back in 3 days and enjoy a hooker or two at the radisson and go home with fresh bankroll to do it all over again.

I'm in OH...car title loans aren't legal.. but pawning the car is.. doesn't make sense to me. So the places here have to physically keep possession of the car.

interest is not bad at all... Ohio law caps it at 60% annual... so on these short term loans...5% a month is fairly cheap if you ask me.

Hope you win. I am an Ohioan also. 5% a month is actually low if you only do it for up to a month. If someone loaned me $500 and told me I had a month to give them $525, it would be on. The only loanshark my family knows would charge 50% interest!
