Why the HECK is Cable gone?

they think the offensive coordinator is goin to be a good coach, they dont want to lose him.. than again its al davis, every move hes made in the last 10 years has been the wrong one

Because Al Davis is a senile old man...

If you wanted to fire Cable because of his anger management issues, you could have done that a year or two ago.

To fire him after they go 6-0 in their division and seem to have finally turned the corner after years of wandering in the wilderness is just plain stupid.

Al Davis made a bad decision here. He took a step backwards instead of forwards. He would have had them in the playoffs next season.

Davis probably wants to bring back Art Shell one more time. Don't know what went on there with Cable but this team finally had respect again. Now they will start all over again. Nobody can ever accuse Al Davis of doing the right thing.

why not fire him? he started out punching his own staff and hasn't made the playoffs once. 6-0 in the division means nothing if you don't make the playoffs. You can talk about being undefeated in the division all you want but at the end of the day what does that really mean? jackshit
