Look at the Packer's schedule this season -- they gave up more than 20 points only 3 times. Packer's D may be best in the league when you factor in many games the kick coverage and other special teams blunders gave opposing teams free scores. See the pats game: NE effectively had 2 offensive TD's against GB. All told they were a close 2nd in scoring D. That's big in playoff games.

Don't forget Vick almost brought back the Eagles that first game of the season. Vick only played one half and the Eagles were down 13-3 at half with Kolb, and a Buckley fumble in Packers territory caused the eagles to be down 20-3. And the eagles lost that game 27-20 but I think this time around will be different.

Green Bay did not come close to dominating the first game between these two. Rodgers got picked off twice and sacked three times, had 188 yards. If you go back and look at that game, the one thing Philly was horrible at there was getting off the field. GB converted too many 3rd downs, especially long 3rd downs. Still with all that and Vick not anywhere near what he is now, the Eagles had the ball at the end with a chance to tie. Dumb call on 4th & 1 for Vick to plow up the middle ended their last drive. It wasn't a dive, they needed a full yard plus. And the drive prior to that, they had to fetch a FG after stalling inside the 5. With a full season in charge of the offense, Vick will be better now. This will be a competitive game and fun to watch.

Both offenses want to get big plays in the passing games. Both defenses will try and blitz the other QB. Which ever QB/offense handles the pressure the best will win. Rodgers is cool under pressure. He will stay in the pocket and make the throws. Plus, Rodgers has weapons all over the place on offense. Vick is cool under pressure but Vick can by another second or two with his scrambling plus he is always is threat to take of for 20 yards. Tough call. I can see the game going either way.

JJ I always respect your opinions when your being serious. Problem is I'm not always sure when you are being serious. I honestly cannot see how the Packers have much advantage if any against the Eagles. I admit I'm an Eagles fan but don't be so sure about GB Did you watch their game today?

Yeah typical Bear Packer war, your point is? It was a defensive war and should be thrown out if your knocking the Packers offense. Do the Eagles play a Tampa 2 scheme that the Bears play? No, they play a blitzing scheme that plays right into what Rodgers and the Packers want to do. Rodgers is the best in the league against the blitz and actually see them running it better than most people expect against the undersized Philly D-line.

Green Bay's Defense gets no respect, it's very good and is ranked 2nd in the league in points allowed. The Pats are number 1 in the league in scoring differential, Packers are #2. Eagles will have to put up at least 27 to win this and I don't see it happening against a defense that gives up only 16 a game. They held the Pats offense to only 17 points, a pick 6 and a special teams blunder contributed the other 14. Eagles are in for a battle.
