No. The probabilities are the same. Pick 20 random people off SFTC and you'll be lucky to find more than one W10.

Why add arbitrary and unnecessary rules that only serve to give your picking style an advantage?

How many winners have we had anyway that picked 8-0 and then stopped picking?
If they have a W8 or W10 or whatever and want to stop picking to preserve their win %, what's wrong with that? That's their prerogative. They earned it. Who's to say they wouldn't make a longer streak if they kept picking? It's their decision and should stay their decision, not anyone else's.

No, it's not the same. Take 2 million people and take 20 people. The probabilities for the average individual are the same. If you add that many more people, the chances of a big streak increase immensely.

No one in our group has ever even had a W18, I believe. Streaks of less than 10 win regularly. OTOH, I don't think there's been a month this year where something less than a W20 has won the ESPN prize.

Yeah I have to agree with Marbles here. The current system has worked just fine, so why would you force someone to make additional picks if they don't want to? Personally, and I think a majority of players would agree, no way I'd stop picking even if I had a W10 or more and was way out in front in this pool. The real goal here is to win that fuk'in cash! Like you said Yis, it takes a good 20+ wins to do that.

Pros can send however many points they want to though. So it would only take 1 day to get your winnings.

Well, I went 9-1. Missed the night props because I was out and couldn't research them.

The soccer one was just a bad beat.

Villarreal scored a good goal in the 17th to make it 1-0, and I was feeling pretty good.

Then in the 40th, Porto scores on a ridiculously lucky goal. The shot had no chance of going in, but managed to nick a V defender just enough to change the trajectory, but not enough to make it off target.

Goal. 1-1. Down goes my streak.

Nevermind a good shot at the stunt day, I could've had a W10 for the group.

i see it on my home computer, but on my mobile home " 3rd period was ommited", should have had a streak of W10, missed the 5:23pm golf prop, and wanted the mlb kinsler prop but the system was busy- did not take my prop in. was greedy as always and took the the NHL no goals in last 10min, van scored 16sec left. Should have sat on my ass and waited for tommorow.
