LOL I don't "bash" anyone that doesn't deserve it... I just call out BS when I see it. If it's often, then that's their fault. Really I don't keep up with 90% of what goes on around here and yet I still see SBRJ posting blatant lies, shills and ghosts acting as apologists for administrators, and plenty of other BS. But regardless everything I do and say is on the up and up. When the forum owner starts covertly attacking me over petty personal issues I just think it's pretty pathetic. Why not just outright ban me? Why play games? Why tell your staff to ignore me? It doesn't make any sense.

I'm not sure what your definition of "bash" is, but if it means to criticize then what's the big deal? Are we suppose to be in fear of reprisal if we criticize SBR? I don't know what your definition of "a lot" is either, since I'm rarely on here for more than a few minutes a day.

I don't really care if they ignore me, but that's not what they are doing. If they were ignoring me, then they wouldn't care what I said. They wouldn't be putting veiled sanctions on my account. If I break a rule, then give me an infraction, ban me, whatever. But I'm not breaking any rules, I'm only "bashing" SBR, or mostly SBRJ. Now if they are going to single someone out for "bashing", then why do they try to hide what they/he does in retaliation? Unless they know what they are doing isn't kosher, it isn't dignified. Which speaks more to the character of SBRJ and staff. So how can anyone trust an organization that tries to sell itself as an industry watchdog yet posts lies and acts shady?

Name-calling after the fact. And it was my initial reaction after seeing SBRJ post a blatent lie and after he originally lied about sigs in the beginning. Besides SBRJ doesn't mind the word f\*g, now if I had called him a ******... well...

I'm not making excuses for anyone. Didn't I say it's a two way street? Two way street means I'm not holding anyone to a perfect standard, nor am I only making excuses for one side. I'm saying it's two way, while you've been painting it as something entirely different.

But really now. If you were a site owner and one of the posters started calling you a ***, what would your reaction be?

I didn't say you have to have a "quota". It's just that the way you post creates the perception that you visit here mostly to bash the website and the people involved in it. Hey, you're not alone in that. But SBR usually isn't happy when people do that.

And again, as for the ignoring thing, you may be being paranoid. From my experience, a large portion of PMs to SBR staff go unreturned, regardless of who is sending them. I don't know if you'd consider me to be in good standing, but I'd say roughly 70% of the times I've PMed Lou, he hasn't replied.

Well sorry I give that perception. I mostly only check my subscribed threads and once in a while venture beyond that. Like I said if I stumble across some bullshit, I post about it. It doesn't have to be SBR, but sometimes it is.

Your experience with Lou is irrelevant. No I'm not being paranoid. Confirmed: SBRJ lowered my server priority last year. He reset it to normal a couple months later after I asked him to at peeps following him posting something out of his ass about forgiveness in forum life. SBR staff ignored my concerns and was silent. Confirmed: SBRodds line history is blocked. Now the same MO.

No, I was just giving an example for you, and that happened to be a recent one.

I mean they operate as a watchdog for companies from which they receive commission on how much money people LOSE at those companies.
So that presents 2 conflicts.
1) It is in their best interest to encourage and promote losing.
2) They become the gatekeeper of truth about what is going on at these companies.

Yeah it's a conflict of interest, but they still have the best ratings I've been able to find.

Covers recommends books, and they do it purely based off of which books will pay them more. There's a lot more that goes into it for SBR, or else BetPhoenix would still be a sponsor, and BetUS and sportsbook.com (the two books that apparently spend the most on advertising) would be top rated books.

yeah there have been a few bigger (softball, little league, obama first pitch, and a few others), but this was clearly one of the biggest and it's the biggest basketball favorite I've ever seen on SftC.

Previous high was Nuggets -10 or so over the Spurs last year (or in 2009, I don't remember), when Poppovich randomly decided (as he occasionally does) to rest Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan.
