What a nightmare. I had never considered sports betting until I heard a well known radio personality in my area (Hartford CT) talking about it. This person runs a paid handicapper service. So, I thought, "why not, I'll try it". This radio person recommended to all his new clients that they set up an account at Bet Royal. I knew nothing about sports betting or offshore books so I did what he suggested. He gave out an 800 number to call (on his radio show) and said to talk to "Darlene". Most people here know that story, Bet Royal was bought out by SBG Global and SBG Global then robbed all of the customers who had been sent to Bet Royal by the radio personality/sports handicapper. The radio personality/ sports handicapper claimed to be 'surprised' that Bet Royal/SBG Global would do this, but it was interesting to find out that SBG paid the radio personality all of the money due him even though they claimed that the reason they stole our money was due to our being in a syndicate run by the radio personality. So, obviously the radio personality was more involved with SBG then he let on.
Then BJO comes along and does a bailout. For 20 x rollover. My account balance was rather high so I just met the rollover requirement of $600,000 a few days ago. I have been very ill lately and just didn't have the energy to deal with getting a payout. Charlie told me not to worry about it, and since everyone else who was bailed out had already received their payouts I didn't worry about it.
Now it seems like BJO is gone.
I'm just glad this nightmare is over.
I'm sure that the idiots and teenagers will flame this thread, that's okay, they can't change the fact that they are idiots.
Sports betting was interesting to me, well I should say the statistics involved in handicapping was interesting to me, but all this bull shit I have had to go through with a crooked paid sports handicapper, SBG, BJO, hiring a lawyer to file a lawsuit against SBG, receiving death threats from SBG, well it just isn't worth it.
