Gruden isn't a good fit. Look at his past stops and you will see the QB carousel issue. They just need stability. Too many coaching changes. Need to get a new QB too. Sing should have been gone the day he hired Jimmy Raye as OC.Comment -
I live about an hour from the bay area, and it seems that the fans out here are glad he is out, and most like myself, wonder why it took so damn long... Gruden, Cowher, Dungy, Holmgren imo are all definitely pipe dreams but harbaugh is a definite possibility. This proud organization needs a legit coach a classy coach with a history of winning and a pedigree for handling players and fans. With a qb and a corner this team isn't far away at all. In game philosiphies and coaching decisions killed this team this year... Good riddance you damn tool, all he did was talk a big game and never deliver.Comment -

That won't happen, Gruden wants complete control so therefore he would be a coach/gm. He is only going to go to a situation in which he is promised that. I don't know enough about the San Fran owners to know if they would stay out of personnel decisions. Gruden also wants a place in which is an immediate winner. Singletary is a black version of Ward Cleaver.It was always that even in a losing cause we will learn a valuable lesson stuff as long as we put in a 110% effort.Down the road it will pay dividends crap.If he eeked out a win where the players didn't show discipline,he was probably hell on earth to his players all week in practice.He envisioned himself of becoming the black version of Vince Lombardi.He was in a time warp where he didn't realize that brand of coaching couldn't work with today's society of players.Not sure but I have a hunch that he didn't care for Obama ,Rangel and the socialists much?I think Mike was a neocon.I f he wasn't and was an Obama fan,then he was a hypocrite and talked through both sides of his mouth where that was the cause of a breakdown in respect among some of his players.All that integrity and ethics crap he demanded from some people and then cavorting with the devil doesn't fly either .Somewhere along the line he was very abrasive to many in the locker room and there was always a mutiny situation wnere he divided his players into adversarial groups.Comment -
The weekday morning radio show on the local sports station are absolutely giddy at the firing. They had a show with Singletary once a week and he was brutal to interview, non-responsive and combative. He needs a position where he doesn't deal with the media because he hates it and is REALLY bad at it.Comment -
