i agree that posting complaints about the book doesn't help his cause. be he in no way demanded anything from the mods here. and please, people ask gold to call them and other stupid shit all the time and this is no different

So one of two things are happening here. He is either dumb and thinks by yelling for JJ to come to the rescue something is going to happen to help his cause. Or nothing happened and he is like all the other dozens clowns who call JJ for attention.

The player has been credited with the full amount of his winnings before I could do a full investigation. 2k limits on a first-half bet are very unusual... That said though, the matter is now closed.

DSI's reply:
"We have credited the player the additional $1700 from his original bet to win $2000. Sorry for the confusion. Please advise the player and the forum that we have made the credit and it was a simple case of miscommunication that the player had his wager reduced. Cheers"

in years past i have placed the wagers at bookmaker that went over the max total, and they kept it all.

now i bet pennies so it never happens

The bad news:

All my online wagers have been capped. I like betting 2 dimes a game and now the max is $250 for me.

I recieved this message this morning in my account:
MAX INTERNET WAGER $250

Maybe this is a good thing...lol.......I won't blow my account so fast since I have terrible money management.

You didn't do anything wrong. You didn't come off as demanding. You where understandably upset. Gladly SBR was here to help. Glad you recieved what was justifiably yours. Now you have been limited. Just have to work around that.

This is what happens when you over bet a books maximum limit and than file a complaint and create a thread at SBR attempting to make the book look bad. They are going to make sure that you not only never over bet the max limit there again but that you never will even get to bet anywhere close to it again.

This thread is a good example of what not to do in this situation.

Great to hear that DSI credited the funds, that was really a stand up thing to do on their part.
Without SBR op would have been out $1700.

hopefully there are no payment issues when you withdraw your account cause of your $250 limits.
I would not stay long at a book with that as the max limit personally
maybe use it just for a system betting 100 per game or somethign similar for a few months though before requesting withdrawal

Very courteous thing for DSI to do considering that they honored a bet on a 1st half total for 2X the max amount allowed on a full game NCAABK total.

Only a top notch book would pay the measly $1700 rather than deal with any negative publicity (even though the negative publicity was highly unjustified). They did the best thing they could do here pay him the money and politely ask him to leave by cutting his wagering limits.

they had no problem taking my large bets in the past........I was betting $4000 a game with DSI before......now they see me as a threat since I am on a hot streak.

If I were to be limited to 250 a game in the exchange for 1700, that would be no problem. Especially when I can take my action elsewhere, and be able to put down 1K bets.
