I am so sorry Iwin.I realize what a really tough time it is.
While it is almost impossible to deal with now,in time,your dad will continue to live on in your heart and in your mind every day.The things he taught you and did for you will be a source of strength.He obviously did a great job raising you and you will carry that forward .

This will take time.
For now,just take it a day at a time.
And if you don't know what to do ,ask yourself,what would dad have done.
I am sure the correct answer lies there.
You have my deepest sympathies in this most difficult time.

Iwin, both of my parents are gone. I know your are in a dark place, my best advice is to grieve, let it all out dont keep it bottled up for fear of being less of a man. The healing process starts with grieving. lastly, you said your father was in great health, well you now have a responsibility to your family to get yourself checked out on a regular basis to ensure this doesnt happen to you. You need to find out if what happened to tour dad is hereditary.......as time goes by you will learn to gain strength from his memory.....God Bless

My dad died of an MI when I was 19. I'm 55 now, and this is still the worst thing that has happened in my life and there isn't really anything in second place. My mom is 76 and I treasure every day...

We want to see what exactly it was so that myself my bro and sister know what maybe WE have to be tested for, ect. Plus he was in such great shape hard to believe he had a heart attack

This is very nice what you are doing. When my uncle passed away my cousins did the same thing so they can find out if they were at risk.

I am particularly proud of the SBR community. Iwin, I lost my dad in '93 and I still think of him every day and still, to this day, cannot quite fathom he is gone. My best to you and your family in this, the most difficult time.

Guys, this is a tough game we play and there are a lot of tough guys in this industry. We're a cynical bunch either by nature of by the very fact that we've been around this so long. However, the response I have seen here should prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is also a caring, compassionate fraternity at SBR and although the circumstances are tragic, the response has been tremendous.
