I feel so bad for you. I had the same thing happen about 3 years ago and it feels horrible. Hang in there and remember the good times you had with him. That is what I do. It is very very sad that this has happened and it is hard to deal with at first. It took me about a year to get over him passing away.

YOUR FATHER WAS YOUNG BUT BELIEVE ME HE WENT THE BEST WAY.MY FATHER ALSO DIED OF A HEART ATTACK AND WHEN I LOOK AROUND THESE DAYS AND SEE PEOPLES FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS SUFFERING WITH CANCERS WE SHOULD ALL BE SO LUCKY TO HAVE A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK.

MY FATHER WAS 78 YEARS OLD AND NEVER SPENT A DAY IN THE HOSPITAL HE WAS A WW11 GUY A NAVY VETERAN I JUST COULDNT SEE HIM DYING OF CANCER AND HAVING PEOPLE TAKING CARE OF HIM THAT WOULD HAVE REALLY KILLED HIM

SORRY AGAIN FOR YOUR LOSS BUT HE WENT TRULY THE BEST WAY YOU CAN IT WAS QUICK.I KNOW IT SUCKS HE DIDNT GET A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE TO HIS FAMILY BUT IT SURE BEATS THE PAIN AND SUFFERING OF CANCER

a few years ago in a twelve month span I lost my father, both grandmothers, and an uncle ... know what you are going through in spades ...

keep hold of the happy memories and take extra care to remind those still around of your feelings for them

life unfortunately always seems to be too short for those we love, and much too long for those that piss us off ...

Well this has to be the worst news in a long time here, anytime a poster has a personal tragedy it hits hard. I cannot even imagine the feeling IWIN has, that has to be a tough one to handle. We are here IWIN for you, he is in heaven now resting.

Sorry to hear Iwin,Hang in there.I kind of know what your going through my dad is on his death bed,only 56.I just try to spend as much time there with him,I guess I'm lucky cause I have a chance to tell him I love him and say last goodbyes.

Iwin you are in my thoughts and prayers buddy- lost my dad 12 years ago today 11/16/1998 still have mom she had open heart surgery last Tuesday brought her home yesterday shes doing great !!

I know it doesn't help, but sorry to hear this. I lost my Mom earlier this year to cancer and she was only 49. It sucks! Just have to know they are in a better place.
