Put the NFL in a weight room with those Blacks. It won't even compare.
Put NFL players in a weight room against world class weight lifters. What's your point?

I forgot to mention that if you don't know who the All Blacks are, you should probably stop now before you embarrass yourself further.

Your talking about contact sports and bringing up international basketball where if you bump someone they blow the whistle until they are tired of playing with the small pee's inside... I mean cmon...Which side of the fence are you on? You want to talk rugby and hockey and NFL and you praise soccer then you bring up international basketball.

Your making yourself look pretty dumb if your going that direction.

Oh I am well aware. They are elite of the elite.

I would also like you to take into consideration of athletes standing at 6'6" 300lbs at 12%bf pounding each other every 35 seconds.

So, why do they play soccer all over Western Europe?

Why do they play baseball in Cuba and the Dominican Republic?

For the same reason they play hockey is Russia and Canada. It's cultural.

They are well rounded solid athletes. Put them on the field without pads or helmets and it would be a blood bath.

No they aren't. They have very little endurance. Dhani Jones recently played in a lower level rugby game and he didn't come anywhere near tearing it up or killing anyone.

lol ok pal. Whatever you say. Those 4.27 40's are a laughing matter. Endurance is needed when you play football. The only time you see someone without endurance is when the 400lb linemen recovers a fumble and runs it back.

I tell you what. Go join a local rugby club wherever you live (I can help you find one) and come back to me after your first game.

I love people commenting on the differences between rugby and football when they have barely watched both, much less actually played both.

Deuce wouldn't finish the first 15 min of a soccer game against women let alone play rugby. He is the all american football player with the endurance of a long distance runner. He does not differentiate between muscle power and endurance. It's all the same for him.

That, almost certainly, would not have been rugby. If you are as athletic as you say and rugby players are as unathletic as you claim, you should be making 6 figures playing rugby in no time.

There is almost certainly a rugby club near you, assuming you don't live in rural Alaska. But then I guess you would turn down a 6 figure job as a pro athlete? Riiiiighhhht.

and u are truely oblivious on how much soccer players get paid throughout the world, arent u. they make football players contracts seem as if they are the specs that work in the USA.

Let's go into rational thinking mode here. I know it may be difficult but please stay with me.

Hmm, I don't have money to afford equipment to play a sport. If I can't buy the equipment, how can I play the sport the way it is meant to be played? How can I enjoy a sport if I don't even have the right things to play it with?

Using a stick to use as a bat to play baseball is like using a 1950's black and white tv to play an Xbox 360 on. ITS NOT THE SAME.

Hmm, 1 person in our tribal community can afford a ball, thats all we need to play soccer. There is no rules in this game. I just have to remember not to use my hands. Wow look at the ball. It's so pretty. It has black dots and white dots on it. Follow the pretty ball wherever it goes. Even if it goes at some guys nuts on a free kick. Just keep following it.

I don't care what Beckham paid Ms. Spice girl to marry him so the public doesn't think he's gay. The NFL has a salary cap. There's no cap in soccer. There's no cap in MLB. Compare soccer contracts to MLB contracts. The average MLB player gets paid between $2-3 million a year.

Go to Forbes.com and check to see the value of the least valued MLB team. I did a little research for you. It's the Florida Marlins. They are ranked 30th in the MLB and valued at $244 million. Tottenham Hotspur is soccer's 14th most valued team and they are worth $243 million.

Now lets take a wander over to our capped sport. The worst ranked NFL team value wise is Minnesota Vikings and they are worth $782 million. They would be the 6th most valued soccer team in the world ahead of Juventus at $567 million and right behind AC Milan at $824 million and Bayern Munich at $838 million.

But soccer has more fans so it's automatically better right? Insert Columbus analogy and try again.

rugby reminds me a lot of smear the queer...to me it just looks sloppy and disorganized...dont get me wrong i think it is a sport and they have plenty of tough athletes...its just not my thing...

Yeah, i'm sure thats what i said

the field is 30 yds wide correct? running a short 5 yd drag route u run 35 yds then?

The average pattern is 50 yds or so. You run what 35 pass patterns?

Running the football field at full speed 18 times isn't endurance. You are right.

Rugby men don't run full speed the whole game either. So to say foots men have no endurance compared to rugby is comical.

No it's 55 yards wide in football.

Why don't you ask any former football player who has tried playing rugby. Better yet, you could just ask me since I've played both.
