The election was rigged, the government stepped in and said no way can we have marijuana legalized in Cali because once other states see the money california would've of pulled in from weed taxes and how the crime rate would drop and jail space would clear for real criminals, other states would've taken notice and put a similar prop on their future balllot and it wouldn't be long b4 half the U.S. had legalized it, the government doesn't want to see that happen because then they would have to admit they was wrong all these years about marijuana... fuckin bastards. Don't matter though, i still have my medical marijuana card so FUKK THE GOVERNMENT!! HA BITCHES
It would've been nice to walk into a gas station and buy some purple urple or super skunk though.

Ya i agree i think the ballots were rigged or some people just really dont care about their rights enough to get out and vote. I bet at least 20% of the voters that wanted this to pass didnt vote outta fear of the feds or just plain a lil paranoid.

Absolutely correct, weed would no longer be an option for mobs and gangs. They would make crack and heroin their main supply thus law enforcement could focus more on those drugs. Not only would it save time, it would save money as well as jail space where many offenders are marijuana related.. . The world needs to wise up. Marijuana has so many benefits. The problem was that the potheads ran a terrible campaign. They failed to explain the proposition properly. The proposition contained language that make it illegal to smoke pot in ANY Public place. It also forbid pot smoking in vehicles. Basically, it limited pot smoking to your home. That was never brought out in the campaign.

Pot supporters say that they will put it on the ballot again. So did the gays when they lost. The problem is this. Raising money for a proposition that has laready been defeated is very difficult. They will not be able to do it again. They faialed once, and the money people will not forget that.

I believe Obama is for the legalization of marijuana but what most people don't know is there are many levels of top secrect clearance above the president. It's the one's that are higher up and stepped in to make sure this prop 19 did not pass. If weed were legal in california it would make it's way in ballots across the country in years to come and the government dosen't want to see that. It comes down to those who are misinformed meaning the ones that have never taken a hit of marijuana in their life yet they want to compare it to crack,cocaine..

It was a poorly written prop to begin with. I live in California and saw very little campaigning for either side. I voted yes because I want to see what the feds would do. In reality I'm happy with the status quo.

Yes, thank GOD that enough "moral" people turned out to defeat Prop 19. Now we can continue the important work of having police chase teenagers all over creation for smoking weed.
