I say if you want what we had with Bush then get the GOP back in. It would be totally different with me if it was 4 years but it is only 2 years and it has not be long enough yet to get the economy back on track.

JJ, NOTHING will change...remember those phuckers where trown out the office 2 years ago for phucking America and the world for 8 years...
Democrats and Republicans are the same, both parties follow the agenda pushed by the big corporations and banks. Will te Republicans end Obamacare and the wars, audit the FED, deregulate the economy, lower taxes, end Ptriot Act, etc ? NO, nothing will change...those co*ksuckers will keep pushing this country on the path of tyranny and destruction.

I don't think jj is being serious.
He's just trolling for attention by repeating over tired lines.

Voting doesn't change anything. It's a proven fact. Corporate America changes stuff. That's it.

Palin is an idiot. She doesn't hold any elected office, and likely never will again.
Keep obsessing with America though, you know you want to be here.

People in the 25%-35% tax bracket vote Republican. I was more liberal when I was younger. The last thing I want now is the government taking my hard earned money and redistributing it to people and programs that just don't work.

She might not be in office,,, but she is a big figure head in the Tea Party movement.
How do you explain that little crazy train??
And no, I do not want to move to an empire on its last legs... If you are going to live in a country with third world debt, would be nice to have the cost of living reflect that... although homes for just over 100k in Arizona and Florida and Nevada is starting to reflect that I guess.

It is the GOP that was in there for so long it is very hard to take care of. They did stop the deregulation of the banks that almost caused a depression in case if you forgot. They did a lot for consumers on credit cards which was badly needed. One thing that Obama did was not lie to us about what he was going to do when he got elected and I know we were lied to plenty with Bush in office. We were misled by him saying everything was great and it wasn't good for the middle class at all. In fact they made less then they did 8 years before that. The stock market was lower when Bush left office than when he got in office and that is plain awful. No President in history has ever seen that happen before.
In fact with you comment in 2006 when the Democrats got back in, Bush blocked an awful lot of things for two years so nothing got done. There is so much that the Democrats couldn't get anything done on that all of it couldn't be done. That is how big of a mess our country was in when President Obama got elected into office.
Now I can say that I haven't agreed with President Obama on some issues that made me wonder what is going on here but it is better than what we had with Bush with my income dropping every year in Bush's second term. I have disagreed with some of the health care bill and how the oil spill has handled.

Voting Republican will also waste your hard earn money. It will be wasted on some ill advised war and turned into dust. Both parties are masters of wasting taxpayer money in uncessary projects.

From an outsiders perspective, it has nothing to do with political parties or corporate interests or television ads.
It is all about lobbyist groups. Nothing gets done with out them, and that is why no real change ever happens.
California is about to have a vote to legalize weed, and the biggest opponent is the Alcohol Lobbyists.
