WTF....no way Oregon should have gotten jumped here. YES...I am a Bama fan but still....without Newton Auburn is average at best....Oregon is the real deal. And it takes a LOT for me to say that about a Pac 10 team guys.

Well MSU in 5th is hardly a BCS issue, looks at the AP/USA/Harris poll, all three have a sizeable drop from the top 4 (Oregon/BSU/TCU/Auburn) to MSU.
But the computers obviously love Auburn adn after the last 2 Im sure they get a huge bump playing Ark and LSU; but they have some soft games with Mississippi, Chattanooga and Georgia coming up. While Oregon play USC, Washington, cal and Arizona.Comment -

Exactly....I'm here in SEC land and watch them all closely. Auburn has been too close too many times and pulled it out. Oregon...down by 20+ to Stanford and then blew them out...says something. Oh well...hope Auburn stays there then...makes it more enjoyable when we beat them in Tuscaloosa in a month

It will all work itself out. Auburn will lose to Alabama at the very least. It might be a combination Of Boise State And either Utah/TCU, who will be the only teams left at the end of the year unbeaten.Comment -

The fact that this is the second straight week in which the BCS #1 isn't ranked in the top 2 in both polls is a testament to how much the computers love teams that play tough schedules and how much they don't like teams that play bad schedules like Boise State and Oregon.
Just because Oregon is the *fastest* team in the country doesn't mean they're the *best*. That being said I have no doubt they'll make it to the title game if they run the table. But with USC firing on all cylinders offensively what makes you think Oregon beats them next weekend?Comment -

Funny thing to think about....was just talking to a friend who is a Georgia fan....mentioned Georgia's play as of late and the game at Auburn in a couple weeks....Georgia is playing for the East lead...Auburn will be looking ahead to the Iron Bowl?? I'm not sold yet...but it does give pause....it's a big Rivalry around here.
