They looked unstoppable last night. Will be favored by more than 7 in every game the rest of the way.

Give some of the best coaches in college football a month to prepare for them and they will slow down that offense. The Oregon defense is what will prevent them from winning a championship caliber game.

Teams Oregon has played and how good their defense is:
New Mexico: 104th
Tennessee: 73rd
Portland St:
Arizona St: 44th (Not too bad, not great)
Stanford: 56th
Washington St: 116th
UCLA: 84th
Upcoming:
USC: 86th
Washington: 94th
Like I said, yes, Oregon has a good offense, but anyone can (and have) put up 50 points on these teams

I was thinking the exact same thing. Good D beats good O, (reference Bradfords Sooners vs. the Gators), but their offense is ridiculous. Its basically unstoppable, far better than last years. Every play you have to worry about the run, the QB run, or the play action pass. The teams that would usually have the kind of D that could contain this team, are all down slightly this year compared to years past...i.e. Bama, OSU, Oklahoma, Fla... the only team I could see hanging is Boise cause they might be able to score on them. That said, they got a tough test next week in SoCal.

They should have lost to Arizona St. They will lose before it's all said and done. USC or Oregon St.

So based on everyone's opinion of their scoring ability, points and yards....Ok St. should be right behind them in the polls right? I mean come on.....Their stats are just above the Cowboys and they average almost the same points. Hell I think OSU's strength of schedule is even better!
Bottom line......Auburn will get the nod if they win out and will jump Boise and Oregon because of SOS. No way does Oregon play for the title, even if they win out. Prepare the crying towels now folks.

Oregon will likely NOT win the national championship. They will probably meet an SEC foe that knows how to run the football and impose ball control. Oregon cant score if they arent on the field. And did you notice how UCLA ran at will against them? UCLA? What do you think is gonna happen when a real team with a real O-line and real fullbacks blocking for their RB is gonna do?
