Whenever I feel a team in college looks unbeatable I take a step back.
First, Oregon must play USC, Arizona and Oregon State a bad game against one of these teams with the other team having a great game can mean a loss. Probably doubtful, but remember these are kids, anything can happen. I have seen it happen toooooo toooooo many times.Comment -

#9i took oregon +300 tonight, and i feel that is a good deal. the only team that can beat them is USC. Oregon should be a 8.5 pt fav that game. they will dismantle arizona and oregon st. and there is no pac-10 title game obviously.........as for how they stack up to the rest of the country, they can and will beat whomever they play. oklahoma would be a pk against them, but i think oklahoma will falter..........worst case scenario is an 11-1 bama team. but they will have to win out as well..........so who else, boise they will beat. tcu they will beat. auburn/lsu they will beat. yes anything can happen but they will be on average 16 pt favs up to the title gameComment -

Maybe
But, that is how the entire country felt when Okl played Boise. Don't under estimate that team. If they get in the final game I think all bets are off.
Again, these are all opinions. But, I have seen so many times the team that looks unbeatable gets beat.Comment -

#13Oregon kept a streak alive tonight. The only time an AP #1 has lost three straight weeks was November of 1960 when Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri all lost on consecutive weeks.
The Ducks look unbeatable right now.

#15At USC will be the primary test here is all. Arizona without Foles is an average-at-best offense with a good D, and it looks like he'll be out for at least another couple weeks, not the time you wanna jump in and play Oregon at Autzen. OSU without James Rodgers is an above-average offense with an average-at-best defense that Oregon will run all over. No one knows what Cal is, but so long as Riley is playing QB Oregon will handle them easily. USC is a bit scary as they have the offense to keep up, but that defense is horrible vs the run and although it might be close for a while, Oregon should pull away in the 2nd half like last year and win by double-digits.Originally posted by dante1

#16I don't think they win it all. If this team played Bama, I think Bama would take them. The only reason why I feel this is because Bama has a decent defense that has been battle tested and played in big games. I don't see them having as much trouble with the constant no huddle offense that Oregon bring to the table. Another team that I think would beat them is Nebraska. Nebraska has the shut down corners to play single coverage on these wideouts so that they can focus on stopping the run. Speaking of running the ball, Oregon looked very poor at times against UCLA in the running game. I can see the Big Bamma backs and Qb Martinez pound and slice this defense to shreds.Comment -

#22This is what everyone thought last year, and Ohio State shut them down in the Rose Bowl. Their offense is no different than what it was last year. You guys are all basing your thoughts off of them beating a pretty miserable team in UCLA. Apparently you guys didn't see how many missed tackles UCLA had? I agree Oregon has a great offense, but all those quick runs aren't going to get you 10, 20, 40 yards against a strong run defense, and Oregon is going to be forced to pass a lot more.Originally posted by RibbedTrojanWho could possibly beat them. I think their one of the top 5 teams, but I'm guessing that they lose to either Washington or Arizona. USC's can put up the points to keep up with them, but their defense could be worse than UCLA's.Originally posted by k13Every team looks good till they lose.

#34Take a look at the Ohio State game last year and you will see why Oregon may not be champs. Teams like Alabama and Wisconsin will run all over thier smallish defensive front and then and register a few offensive stops. If they catch Boise or TCU in a National Championship game then I think you have a shot. Nice odds though.Originally posted by Hoja VerdesI got them to win it all 3 weeks ago at +800, risking $150.
